- Kruger Unlocked Ep 15 | Crocodile Bridge - No luck with the big Cats on this episode, unfortunately. The amount of elephants definitely made up for the lack of lions during the week! The only lion update was the two young males that crossed the S28 towards the Vurhami River. The visual was too far for the video camera so I indicated on the map where the sighting occurred.

Wonderful sighting of all the ellies. Beautiful walk by from the bull. The elephants were definitely on the move that morning. Elephant babies are just so cute and fun to watch. Even though we didn’t see any big cats the elephants definitely made their presence known. Another great video. Hope you have a wonderful weekend Christof 💜🐘

Doesn’t it! Even after so many years and hundreds of elephant sightings on foot and from a game viewer the heart will do what it wants!
The irony is that the world loves lions, but the real king of the bush is an Elephant bull.

Wow. yes I became anxious seeing him walk by 😂 Whew. Love elephants. amazing bird. never saw one of those before that’s amazing. well, all those cars they must be looking at something. love S28 nice drive. love searching along with you. ohh great elephants. wow big herd. now my black cat is in front of the TV looking at the elephants too. this is a great view of the elephants absolutely love it oh and the zebras awesome. great ride. love from USA. ❤❤ 😊

I love all animals. Elephants are such beautiful animals and such genrle giants. I bet when these giants walk they make the ground shake with every step. I enjoy watching any of the widlife and nature, anytime you can observe it, its well worth it. Thank you for another masterpiece. I wish you well and many blessings to you and your family. Greetings, Madiba! Wooooow! Not Caturday but Tuskerday... Luv luv luv, ellies! Their social intelligence, empathy, cooperation & complex relationships simply astound you. African elephants are more imposing than the Asian ones. You were so privileged to get a "walk by" like that. And I was listening, taking notes on different etiquettes to know when encountering these magnificent beings in the bush. Have to wander to an African bush soon to have a real, deep understanding of "existentialism" :) Been lurking... doing my "homework" to catch up with the unseen epis. Now onward to the xyz reply to your previous comments... Not studying cardiology but did have entanglements with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons (no, not all are rich & poor me haha :)) I worked at a university & various colleges as an educator/counselor & volunteered on 10 cardiac surgery missions in 9 countries as a researcher. These trips taught me invaluable lessons of humility & humanity... And often, the kindest, most generous & warmest people were the less fortunate. Also, due to the nature of cardiac surgeries, life & death were a perpetual dance...
Oh thank you, Christof, for offering Afrikaner food. I am a foodie. Love cultural foods. Sharing food brings dialogues & camaraderie. @buffiesilver: totally agree with you re: "our boy, Maribye." It's so egregious & barbaric to see the extent his injury (Tavangumi was practically severed in half. Maribye was just a bit luckier) WE Safari Live has been giving updates. He's not quite out of the woods yet. Happy to hear that he can climb & has been fed.

In my decade of guiding I’ve seen countless animals with snares or old healed wounds because of snares. Wilddogs, lioness, hyenas and elephant trunk. It is heartbreaking 💔
This is the world we live in unfortunately for wildlife. Poverty in 3d world countries causes this and authorities try their absolute best to counter this but conservation areas are simply to vast.
We can talk all day about this🤦🏻♂️
