Excellent open minded interview The last sentence he said deeply hurt me where he said his aim was to attract the Indian audience.I feel really sorry for the gentleman. Since I was born in Pakistan and heard when I was 15/16 he was an overnight success and he was very well received by the public more especially when his two songs from movie Baazi was a great hit One song raate thi chandni got into controversy due to double meaning of the lyrics However male audience enjoyed it thoroughly. Later I settled in USA but he did great songs in partnership of Tina saani.I had opportunity to attend his concert in Dallas around early part of 90s.Great singer.
What a generous & sophisticated person he is Masha Allah. Despite being an industrialist he sounds humble, this is what music demands from a seeker to be disciplined, sensible, motivational, philosophical & moderate. Many prayers & tributes to the legend.
I don’t think this lady realizes who is sitting before her. Habib wali Mohammad is a big name in Pakistan and very much respected. She should have prepared her self for this interview.
