Attila’s assets and atmosphere are unmatched IMO, best art direction in the series and it really shows with modded content. Wish they brought siege escalation back in newer titles
They had the shield in the hobbit movie. When the dwarves were breaking out of the elves castle, they ran into some gate wardens. But the gate wardens were shot down by archers
Can’t wait to have the players do a erebor vs angmar next along with the mordor influence from the goblins just the mordor uruks so every army are all orcs and trolls of course
I think the Carnen hunters are better than I original thought, I feel like they made a difference in the battle even after using the throwing axes. The Dwarves don't have much range so it is good that they got some hard hitting axes that throw fast. I really like the Iron hills. Not everyone will agree but I think the Sons of the Mountain should get some missile block, it would make sense with the quality and amount of armor Dwarves wear to have better blocking than say the Orcs.
armour already takes into missle resistance though, missile block chance is a completely different thing, which is based on wether the missile will hit the soldier which it always will as they have nothing to block it.
@@zacaboy3001 Interesting, I guess that makes it impossible to increase without having a shield? Can't increase the armour without changing the overall punishment they can take in melee. So, not sure how that would work.

This map can be fun to defend when you have a full army. Small army? Hard to do.

Yeah the javies are particularly effective and can take a few shots from ranged units too
