    Hello Macbeth, I have a question. Do you guys have any updated roadmap for Kingdom Of Arda of any kind? If so can you give me a link.

      No sorry We are sharing very little, so that when we do, it will have a bigger impact. I can tell that our focus atm is Rohan and assets for Rohan. Pretty much all maps being worked on is for Rohan as well. We will show more when we got something incredible to share.
      However I am working on a Mordor video, so when it comes out, there might be a few new things to see and some new info about the faction

    Hi! Thanks for all the tutorials! A question:
    To your opinion should we expect from Taleworlds better support for meshes editing any soon? At the moment I found making models damn overcomplicated process that involves unofficial tools beginning just with the fact all resources are packed into their custom .tpac archives and, depending on situation, to make a model that fits all the requirements you just must to edit an existing one (lets say armor that rigged to specific skeleton with specific scale). I was expecting to find it in editor but in fact it doesn't even allow to extract files from archives, basically level editing and module setup are the only things they supported so far.

      yeah it is - if you look through the available maps you should be able to find it. by looking at it you should be able to learn what is needed.
      Otherwise you can ask on the modding discord - I know other people have made a different menu background.

    Thanks for sharing. I got a problem that test mission can't working for my new scene. I don't know why, that just a single player testing and can't work. Could u give me some advises?

      You mean the 'test mission' button in the top I assume?

    Oh, I have a problem. When I import the existing Southern Empire scene, all items are normal, but the ground is always flat and the altitude is 0. Where is the problem?

      You can't use that scene because Taleworlds did not include the terrain_ed.bin file in the SceneEditData folder. Without that file a map will just have flat terrain.

      @@gardragonlee3158 no you would have to wait for taleworlds to share the file, but I doubt they will as it increase the download size of the game quite a lot if they included all the terrain_ed.bin files

      @@MacbethofGondor HAhahahah,Ah, this is like a superb bow, but it has no strings. TW often does this kind of thing. They will make cat movements seriously, but they will not decorate the town to make it unique. They released the editor but did not give out the file.

      @@gardragonlee3158 There are other maps you can check out. If they got a folder in SceneEditData there should be a terrain_ed.bin file

    Hey man, I got another question, or rather its the same question. Changing the color of trees will only change the color of the bark, I'm unable to change any trees actual leaves, if I change their mesh to anything else, I can change the color, but the mesh of the trees leaves I'm unable tto change, ie nothing happens when switching ttheir color. How do we get around this?

      it can be hard - not sure you can do it with them as entities, but when you change aldedo colour for trees placed as flora with a layer you usually change the colour of the leaves. You can't change the bark in that case though (as far as I remember).
      The best thing to do is really to add new trees to your mod

    I have really been en joying this series dude, my map is looking sweet because of these guides. I have one question though, whenever I try and test my map as the mounted character I crash. It never used to happen but since my map has developed more I just can't test without crashing. Any ideas?

      Hmmm no sounds like a weird bug- You don't have the scene editor extras mod on do you?

    Speaking of custom trees, would it be possible to modify an olive tree and make it produce oranges and rename it an orange tree?

      Not through the editor no. You’d need a new 3d model.
      The trees are very limited sadly. I’ve tried to turn the poplar into a cypress, but the results are quite off and don’t look good.

      If you have added them as entities just click on them and hit delete

    Hey Macbeth, is there any particular reason that you increase the lod instead of just changing the wood type of each lod level, increasing the lod seems like it would increase resource usage, even if only by a bit

      Yes - because it's better and actually works :P
      increasing it just by 1 shouldn't be a huge problem - I haven't tested how much it affects performance for a forest of dead trees though. Would probably affect potato pc's, but I don't think it should be a huge problem.

      Yeah I will probably start on those in January when I got some more time. I'll make at least 2 other scene editor tutorials before that though
