Just a warning about using long lengths of plasticard. Any glue, putty or mastic you put on the top will tend to contract during drying and may cause warping.
Yes your right that will happen with a lot of base materials. The trick it to leave gaps and with hot glue I have never had that problem tbh.
Great video. I don't see the vulcanized coconut fibre on the modelscenerysupplies sit you linked.
I think they call it rubberized

How exactly do you clean the spray bottle afterwards to prevent the nozzle from gumming up? Always find it a real pain. I’m assuming you just pour any leftover Scenic Glue back into the original container?
Before it dries just spray clean warm water through it. Its water soluble.
