Looking at the park i dont see a new coaster coming there sadly.Many rides seem totally neglected, with even minor maintenance not being carried out.That log flume looks an accident waiting to happen too!! I hope your hotel was nicer so you could atleast enjoy your evenings.Thanks for taking us along on your journeys into the unknown.
I’ll be going away to Orlando Florida very soon for three weeks. It really will be something for me to look forward to. It’s not very often I actually get to visit theme parks as I don’t have any close by to where I live, I wish I did though, one of the reasons I love watching your videos so much
Interesting to see the differences with this one and the one in the Algarve. This seemed to have a much bigger emphasis on rides compared to the Algarve one which had minimal rides with a much bigger emphasis on animals and shows (which made that visit great) Maybe the Rome one is heading in that direction with the closing of rides ( looks in great need of some renovation compared to the Algarve one!)

We were thinking about going to the Rome one after our Algarve visit but may wait for that investment Our visit was one of the best we have had to a theme park with all of the animals and displays there and’s their catchy theme song If they replicate that park in Rome then they will be doing something great but would likely require a move away from most of the rides and rollercoasters
Respect to you both for making the most of the day! It sad to see that the park hasn't been kept to the best standard. It feels Like they have the bones of a good park, it just needs a bit of looking after and some investment. On the bright side, if you hadn't highlighted the issue of advertisement of the coaster a lot more people probably would have been disappointed.

It is kind of a shame as truthfully it looks like it could be a cute park and with a couple investors it could be just that! To start with bring in a unique coaster for the area (like they had and guess planing on it) and clean up the flat rides they do have and get rid of ones that can’t be and start planning for new. A drop tower for an additional thrill ride would fit in well having an ocean/sea nearby to get views of. Coaster and basic maintenance first though. That would probably bring in some money for other things down the road. Doesn’t have to be a huge park to be successful but if they want have a water park and rides they need to keep up both! Sorry your day was a busy. Hope your afternoon and evening was better.

I think there’s a hint in the name it’s a zoo and water park mainly and that’s clearly what managements priority is when thinking about investment and upkeep. Just want to put that out there. I get where you are coming from though.

Last time i went to Rome I had 1 spare day to do a theme park and chose magicland and I think i made the right choice after seeing the other 2 parks. Also I found with magicland the price was great value considering it does have 2 high high quality water rides and decent coaster. I can see why each of the parks have added water parks as with the high temperatures it makes for a good day out.
im sorry you did not have a great day this park does look in really bad shape! The one in Portugal i think is smaller than this one and has less rides however all the rides were operational when i went. Hopefully this park gets fixed up soon

I thought it did look very similar to the Margate looping star, that was an excellent ride. These rides need to be saved, it would be great to see it moved and refurbished to another park. Would be a great coaster for a smaller park in need of a new coaster, somewhere like Great Yarmouth or Pleasurewood Hills
Be aware that when you visit penguin trek the smell is unbearable. The smell of rotten fish fills the que. I was gonna wait in a95 minute line but opted out to go ride icebreaker again because that smell and the one train system was a Big L on SeaWorld

It’s a massive bummer that ride was closed. Every time I see a Schwarzkopf SNBO or being removed, I cant but help feel a bit deflated. They are such timeless, iconic pieces of history. Kinda pains me to see them just rotting and neglected.
What can I say, unfortunately you have seen the situation in this part of Italy with investments that the parks management do , given the state of the attractions. Zoomarine, is in the middle of Magicland (have you seen Shawn, what kind of huge changes has it made, since your first visit and has room for improvement in the 2 parks (water slides for adults and Wooden coaster on the other, both investments currently on hold, perhaps due to a change of ownership ). and Cinecittà a disaster ( that speaking of Disaster, Movieland is once again our salvation this year, being their largest investment opened today Saturday),due to mismanagement, practically remained literally the same apart from the aquatic area.and left to itself. Returning to Zoomarine,what a shame that Vertigo was still not available, being the only one in Italy and the park that had not yet updated the site. At least it has a part as Sea world, which is still very appreciable.
I would ask for my money back, I think. I mean it was not even just the 2 biggest attractions that were closed, but almost all the kiddie rides. The maintainnance is also lacking. Maybe if that is lacking, the only safe decision is to close those rides, unfortunately. Hope you had somewhat of an ok day, anyway! 🤗

Brrr, those animal enclosures... 😢 The penguins looked somewhat ok, but those sea lions alone in those concrete tubs... heartbreaking. This park needs to focus on the waterpark and just close the rest.

Massive disappointment of a visit here. Wouldn’t have been so bad if that Vertigo coaster had been open. Obviously its days are over as a roller coaster and a new ride for next year coming in. Thank goodness the log flume opened up otherwise a total waste of money of a visit. Talking of log flumes that one reminded me of Great Yarmouth’s now closed and demolished “Old Salty” log flume now much missed from the town.
That is very sad how that coaster was closed and still advertised. I definitely agree with you, parks should really try make it more obvious which rides are expected to be closed and looking at the state of that coaster, they definitely knew it would not be open. 6:36 Let me explain. You didn’t lose anything with vertigo down. That’s clearly a coaster built just because the park can say “we have coaster”. I tried, and it just did its job, nothing special. I liked ZooMarine more than Magicland and Cinecittà World, because ain’t a park that thinks to be “The Ultimate Theme Park”, it’s just a humble park, well kept (as I remember when I’ve been there few years ago) and in its being humble, I enjoyed it a lot for a day with my friends. There’s a calm and relaxed atmosphere in there, everyone is free to spend its time as best as he thinks.

You can still ride a Schwarzkopf coaster similar to this one at Hansa Park in Germany...there the coaster is in a very good condition!

You are in Rome. One of the world's great cities. I would argue going to a kids Theme Park when you are in the Eternal City is the real waste of a day
As we’re a theme park channel, it’s kinda what we do 😉 Of course, visiting Rome was the huge highlight. We spent multiple days in the city!

Brrr, those animal enclosures... 😢 The penguins looked somewhat ok, but those sea lions alone in those concrete tubs... heartbreaking. This park needs to focus on the waterpark and just close the rest.

We travelled here specially for this so it was quite disappointing!

Massive disappointment of a visit here. Wouldn’t have been so bad if that Vertigo coaster had been open. Obviously its days are over as a roller coaster and a new ride for next year coming in. Thank goodness the log flume opened up otherwise a total waste of money of a visit. Talking of log flumes that one reminded me of Great Yarmouth’s now closed and demolished “Old Salty” log flume now much missed from the town.
It wasn’t the best sadly, but we made the most of it!

That is very sad how that coaster was closed and still advertised. I definitely agree with you, parks should really try make it more obvious which rides are expected to be closed and looking at the state of that coaster, they definitely knew it would not be open. But once again, thank you so much for sharing your experience at these parks as these vlogs are so entertaining and informational. Hi Shawn and Charlotte! Sadly vertigo isn’t operating since august 2023.
6:36 Let me explain. You didn’t lose anything with vertigo down. That’s clearly a coaster built just because the park can say “we have coaster”. I tried, and it just did its job, nothing special.
I liked ZooMarine more than Magicland and Cinecittà World, because ain’t a park that thinks to be “The Ultimate Theme Park”, it’s just a humble park, well kept (as I remember when I’ve been there few years ago) and in its being humble, I enjoyed it a lot for a day with my friends. There’s a calm and relaxed atmosphere in there, everyone is free to spend its time as best as he thinks.
