    It's June of 2022....I am binge watching your old videos because I didn't start watching your channel until right after you moved to Idaho. I had 2 days off and decided to watch your old videos. Of all the videos this one made me cry. I'm the wife of a (retired) deputy. I know EXACTLY what you mean about the sound of velcro! Hearing that sound flooded me with memories. I cried for the fact that my husband lived to see retirement and I cried for the many who did not. Thank you for your service Jeremy-and you also Melissa! Love from MN

    Man you made the right choice, no two ways about it!! I retired in 2004 from the NH state police, a 27 year career that though I have no regrets, well, not many, I could not do it today. I awoke to our Constitutional Republic and the tyranny we live under today...keeping that oath is absolutely impossible, and I swore to it twice, for my military enlistment in the Army and then, those years as a trooper. It's today not a job worth risking your life, and your moral convictions for. So God bless you....you are on the RIGHT road and making the right choices! Your family is priceless and worth more than any job! I am a new subscriber as of today and I am enjoying catching up with your journey. Lord how I would enjoy being your age again and making the choices you are making. Stay safe....you will always be a brother, the dues have been paid.

    Congratulations, Bless you young man, being a policeman is hard: on you, your wife and family and I understand your wife's comment about the hearing the velcro, first hubby was a cop and I was always relieved when I heard that sound back in the 70's. Last hubby was a New York State Police for 33 years, retired from there ( I met him after this) and became a deputy sheriff working that for 8 years and finally retired completely....May the road rise up to meet you.
    May the wind be always at your back.
    May the sun shine warm upon your face;
    the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
    may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

      How about cops reflect on the corrupt racist system known as US Police they support. How about they question why America has a disgusting record of human rights violations domestically.

      D Cummings, many have suffered losses in life like yourself, and seek to live a simpler life. I am there myself, having left the Fire Department I worked at for 12 years, into a hard core transition in my life. I would think a good idea would be to get 10-20 like-minded people, all with different but compatible backgrounds to build a connected and sustainable community - where everyone is part, everyone gives time and effort, and everyone is valued for the human they are. Good healthy living, at reduced costs, with everyone looking out for each other.

How about all the cops that do good in their community? I forgot all the cops are bad. What about the 300 plus people that have been murdered in Chicago and Baltimore alone by their fellow citizens this year so far?

    Being married to a guy who was in the State Patrol for 30+ years it's a lot of mental training for the wife and kids. Especially when they go to work and you always hope they live to come home another day. There were close calls for sure especially one time there was an incident which could have killed him that he had, and at that point I did ask him to quit knowing it was the wrong thing for me to say. Then I got called in by his Sargent and I was basically lectured to suck it up because this is the way it is. So, I decided to take out a one million dollar life insurance policy on him and changed my thinking to accept the love he had for his job and that I might end up raising our sons by myself. Gods blessings to you and your family and your new home and land is awesome for sure.

      Sandra Van Lankvelt, I’m thankful for his family he has already quit. Now is not the time to be an officer if you have small children. He seems like such a caring, devoted loving father, and husband. Risking his life is not worth it with all these ungrateful morons on the loose. With most acting the way they supposedly are ”protesting against” BLACK AND WHITE!! Killing innocent officers and other fellow Americans. No doubt it's tragic what happens to some individuals BLACK AND WHITE while in the hands of CORRUPT OFFICERS yet, we still have good cops. 🙌🏼💙💓 I am more frightened to be out and about with my biracial child than I am of being pulled over with them in my car. It's been that way for the last 6 years, the unpleasant looks from manly angry women occur daily. Sadly, they don't even realize this child was left in my home and the parents never returned. Therefore this is MY CHILD now!!! 🥰😍❤️ 💯 How many INNOCENT officers now? Are they even yet!? How much free stuff from destroying and looting the very towns most live in BLACK AND WHITE. While we condemn (rightfully so) the KKK, I don't recall that racist group ever looting and destroying property city blocks. 🙄 So yeah, my thoughts out to every innocent officer and their families that are trying to keep the peace that with this group seems useless. Not to forgot my thoughts go out to every innocent individual killed by a dirty cop! I hope they get justice through the system, not through more killing, stealing and destroying. How does that even have anything to do with trying to bring awareness. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

    I remember when I was a cop for only a month and I was already tired of the political bullcrap. Went to the Academy for 6 months and learned a lot about law but dealing with dysfunctional people made me miserable and also dealing with your coworkers always talking about who they arrested and who done what and who they had to put down like they are in the WWF, it was awful. Then I looked into driving trucks for a company for 2 years and made my decision of owning a Trucking company and I never looked backwards and still the owner of my own Trucking company as we speak. I have others that did the same thing and doing good. Thank God I made the right decision and hopefully you as well.
