It seems you'd be likely to see an HST drag every time you went down to the West Country in those days! Some interesting period cars as well, and a Devon General Bristol VR before everything became minibuses.
The days when you'd rush home from work for an evenings spotting ,no need for realtime trains ..everyone a winner ! I still have my memories of the westerns,peaks,rats,and the first HSTs to run the seawall . I hope you get a bit more luck with the modern workings Trevor ! Andy

Hi Steve and yes 30 years since i filmed this footage.Network Rail or what ever they were called were busy on the track if i remember right.As regards the views i have been getting it is very disappointing on the stuff i am filming now which i think is decent but its just the same few who bother to look and comment like yourself.Will give it a bit longer then decide what i am going to do...Thanks....Trevor.''
