I’m retiring my Apple Watch for this. The battery life and continuous heart rate tracking is all I need. Plus it won’t be so painful on the wallet when the time comes to replace it

I'd comnsider the xiaomi watch s2. It looks the smoothest so far, but I just ordered the band 8. If it really is smooth, I'll stick with it. Really only needs nfc, and gps. I don't need more.
Main reason that i like mi band's is exactly their form factor. I do not want a regular smartwatch because i work every day and my band gets all dirty and scratched up. I would not feel comfortable wearing anything more expensive to work than a mi band. Plus it has everything i need, it tells me the time, weather and tracks my vitals. Which is all i really ask for in a smart band.
Could tell that Xiaomi saw the playable Band 7 watchfaces, and they liked it so much that they decided to make their own playable watchfaces for the Band 8
@@neobear probably they'll make it official sooner or later, as for Mi band 7 there's already alot of independent games (applets) like tetris, flappy, tic tac toe, jump jump, whack a mole, climbing down stairs, etc

@@skysky4198 yes. Mi band 7 pro is like a downgraded Mi band 7. You can't reply to messages, can't personalize the menu, there are few options of watchfaces and sometimes it's kinda laggy. The only pro of Mi band 7 Pro is the GPS.

Some early Chinese version dont support english at all. That why chinese version alway cheaper than global version, atleast need to wait for they release the global version, after that you can upgrade Chinese version firmware to have english support
My miband4 lasts over 30 days between charges, I only use it for notifications, 3 alarms/day, walking distance measurement. A really nice gadget, I can still find many cool faces for it, my favorites are casio
I lost mine recently. There is no way of locating it because it has no GPS. It served me very well but the strap can break easily and cause sore skin scars
I bought the Smart Band 8 and downloaded English version of app, but it doesnt pair with the new band, trying to add model and the model is up to band 7, and no 8 is supported. What I can do to pair the band.
Dear! Reseted smart band 7 using factory reset. And now instead of 100 watch faces in the app store only 28 are showing up which makes me very disappointed. Now please tell me how to solve this issue. Although I have also complained on 14th July 2023 through Zepp Life app. But so far Xiaomi has not solved this problem.😢
I see the new band as a downgrade. The advantage of the old, rubber band was that it was cheap and durable. If you snagged it, the pill would fall out and it would be good to go after reinserting it. Now it's much more fragile. If you snag on it, you need a new mi band because you can't fix the mechanism. The 60 Hz display is also a minus for me. Pretty much a useless feature that eats a lot of battery. Instead of the gimmicky apps, I wish they would bring back the early bird sleeping function. That was the reason I bought my first Mi Band 1! Still no global NFC and the price has also increased.
A channel on here compares watches. His name is Quantified Scientist. Samsung, Apple, Garmin, Huawei are the best. Amazfit and Xiaomi are the worst. Stay away from

The ios version of the Mi fit app does not allow changing the watch face, while this watch has many attractive watch faces! Has anyone found a solution to use other watch faces on the iOS app?
The only thing I don't like about my China region Xiaomi band 8 is that the app tells me my cycling ride details in Mandrin. No idea what shes saying!😅 Also the app challenges, awards, and exercise videos are all in Chinese. No way to change to English even though the app and band ask the preferred language. 😢
Truly disappointing! I can't see as single advantage over the 7. I get at least 3 weeks normal use between charges, and if all I'm going to get is a boxing app and 16 days use, it's a HUGE thumbs down from me.
