tbh, that's not what you should do when someone seems like a traitor. suspicion without evidence is 100% just rdm. this is the yogs though, and the yogs rdm at least a dozen times per video.

I can appreciate when Lewis does admin commands that benefit nobody or both teams, or just to add a little chaos at the beginning (ex. Soulmates) but when it's like that it's irritating as shit.
I´m even more mad at Rythian agreeing with him. I get Lewis, power corrupts. But we all know how salty Rythian gets when he is killed "for no reason". (Even if there usually is one. Remember barrel justice?) Now he´s fine with cheat-killing to win. fml edit: or later in this very video

They shouldn't have that time. That time was explicity extended so traitors wouldn't lose when they couldn't find innocents, not so traitors wouldn't lose when they camp in a fucking corner.
@@jt1687 You're right, it's not like that happened... Because it didn't. Ravs put down a grav grenade for fun, which somehow glitched them through the ceiling. Zylus then (unsuccessfully) tried to get away from ravs, so that one of them wouldn't get caught in the other's explosion. Even if one of them survived and tried to hunt down the remaining innocent, the only reason would be due to the traitor explosion time limit.

Rather than (justifiably) commenting on Lewis' abuse of of admin powers, let me just say how much more I appreciate Ben for not doing so. Most of the time, he'll just use them to fix something that urgently needs fixing, and very occasionally to do something else for no other reason than that it is fun, improving the game for both players and viewers in the process.

Ravs and Zylus use the zombie box (normally a weak traitor weapon) and try hiding it instead of throwing it into the open, and then barricade themselves to let the zombies win the game. In response to this new play, Lewis just kills them with admin powers :/
So far no one defending Lewis's admin abuse has managed to provide an actual valid justification for what was clearly actual cheating. Camping is boring? Yeah, I guess all of the nonsense that happened during that round was just infinitely less interesting than the two traitors just running around shotgunning everyone and ending the round in 30 seconds. It's not like they didn't successfully kill almost every innocent before Lewis decided to force them to take a loss. 10 minutes of doing nothing? Well, I would argue that they were hardly doing "nothing", but the real problem here is why the fuck are rounds 10 minutes long now? The whole point of them being 5 minutes before was to prevent situations like this, so clearly the extended limit isn't helping. If it was really necessary to start abusing commands, did Lewis really have to pick the one that gives the traitors 30 seconds to make a move? They spent 15 of those seconds stuck in the ceiling. He could've picked one that affected everybody, or at least one that didn't effectively instantly kill the traitors after they had already killed nearly everyone. It was bullshit, plain and simple. Genuine, unjustifiable cheating, something Lewis has recently started making a real bad habit of in TTT. The admin abuse was funny at first, but now it's getting old.
I can quite easily: Camping is against the rules on any TTT server you'll play on They changed mod and have to wait for the creator to adjust round times (or yogscast staff member to adjust round times. I'm not sure with this new mod) They had multiple credits, multiple items and one person to kill. Even with being soul linked, a minute on a small map like that is enough. Additionally, how was he to know that the ceiling thing would happen? However, I do agree that there are better commands to use in such an instance Wasn't bullshit at all, they have a limited time to record TTT, whilst they can edit it down to make it more enjoyable for us, by waiting the whole round it takes away from other rounds that they can play that in turn reduces the amount of rounds available for editing and uploading for us to watch. Whilst the command used was wrong, what he did was justified (although making it a level playing field would've been better than killing them)

The issue arises in that it made it less entertaining for myself and others. I don't think people want to remove Lewis's admin powers, they do sometimes make rounds really fun at times, he should just use them less. Even with the use justified, they makes the videos not as entertaining, for Admins could theoretically sway it either way at any time.

We're bored of him ruining the games almost every episode now, and the only way it'll stop is if Yogscast gets enough complaints. Lewis needs his admin powers removed, it's so unfair that every round he loses he just gives the other side an impossible challenge to over come. And yeah they were camping, but 1. traitors don't win by camping, and 2. IF YOU DON'T LIKE CAMPING JUST REMOVE THE CREDIT PRINTER
He has done this for the last couple of videos too... I get he is trying to keep it interesting, but it kind of sucks a lot of the fun out of the game's 'normal' random shenanigans. It's fun to see someone randomly get something that screws them over, not have an admin enable something unfairly like that. Ben does that from time to time, but it is never as blatant or intrusive as THIS.
Three, They can edit the episode down. Four, they were still being entertaining with that KKKing. Lewis has ruined so many potentially epic plays. Imagine if he killed Tom last episode. We would of missed out on the best prop disguise a player ever.
Camping with the original time limit was fine; traitors just lose if they camp too long. They can camp as long as it benefits them, but don't cry when all your traitor toys don't kill the innocents faster than time runs out. When Yogscast changed the time limit, traitor camping became unacceptable. Lewis was in the right.

HERE'S HOW WE FIX THE ADMIN ABUSE: (and the stupid long round timer) Just have "nobody can hide from my sight" automatically turn on at the 5 minute mark. That's it, no other admin abuse allowed.

But generally, as a way of speeding up rounds while still keeping the longer timer, thus letting rounds play out and avoiding often very anticlimactic timer-wins, I think it would be a good solution. To avoid the traitors camping like here, they should really just remove the credit printer. We've had some fun with it, but it incentivices camping and passive play.
That just gives incentives for the traitors to hide and stock up. Then the traitors have a perfect radar and all the means to kill them all. The actual way to stop admin abuse is to just take admin away from Lewis, since there's nothing wrong the current set up under the assumption admins won't interfere.

Well as the audience we have a lot of say in what happens. If the majority of people dislike him doing something it is generally in his best interest to stop. I love the yogscast and its not a big deal I was just stating my opinion. A man can own a billion or even trillion dollar company but if all his viewers/customers etc are suddenly unhappy and leave then woopdy doo. Imagine if they suddenly went to 1 subscriber. Rythian's salt really chafes my nips. Sometimes saltiness is funny, but when other people do it its lighthearted, Rythian always sounds geniunely pissed off. But still, that doesn't give him a free pass on just shouting, swearing and insutling people in quite a geniunely angrily sounding manner. "YEAH I'M A GLITCH IT'S ALMOST LIKE I WAS MAKING A FUCKING PLAY" except there was only one traitor left, and he killed an innocent while making his "play" he did something dumb, and got angry at everyone else for it.

Lewis basically just gave the innocents an auto win. Also, don't say PhD flopper. We see how often the detective buys that on detonator rounds and barrel heavy maps. Expecting the traitors to remember when the pressure is on is a move we can't expect from the yogscast memory and skill level.
@@brendanworthington3888 To be honest they should just remove the printer. Only Ravs and Zylus use it. Lewis also used it once or twice but nobody else really uses it. It's typical Ravs to camp in a traitor room where only traitors can access and wait until the end of the round to leave and try to finish of the innocents. This time they camped in a room protected by 1. Barnacles. 2. Turrets. 3. Antlions. The innocents tried to kill them but they stood no chances. Last time I remember the gamemode was about Traitors attacking innocents, not innocents hunting down traitors just so the round could end. It gets super boring when they just camp the entire round and it possibly reduces the amount of rounds we get per video.

So, the acceptable way to fix this is rules, traitor item removal, or having people who don't abuse their power use admin powers to make the round fair. He couldn't even claim he was playing jester because he blew someone away. It was just a godawful play. Now, there's been equally awful plays before, in fact they're fun, but this wasn't fun as Rythian got pissy and seemed to think the play that got him killed was a masterstroke on his part. Other people who mess up own up to it.

My opinion for the second round is that Lewis used admin abuse because both the traitors were already soul linked. And while they were camping they gave themselves away (leading to a funny segment with the editors switching to their screen) and camped for less than 4 mins which would've been fine for the previous round timer as well.

Ravs and Zylus: Effectively forces the innocents to either press a well-fortified position or fight for their lives, while creatively using a traitor weapon to possibly flank the last inno and escape the room they trapped themselves in. All within the rules and boundaries everyone else has to play by. Lewis: You lose in 30 seconds lol

We need a randomat that turns TTT into Prop Hunt. Where the innocents are transformed into a random prop and traitors become the hunters. And, visa versa.

I really do wish they would take Lewis’s admin commands away... when it was Ben who only had the commands the events used to be fun and wacky and unpredictable... when Lewis uses them they tend to be the exact thing over and over like he’s just raging with out trying to make it noticeable. I miss the days when Ben would actually spice up the round instead of being like Lewis and forcing his team to win when he gets butt hurt or something
Literally make Ben the only admin. Lewis does not work as a good DM here. The rounds that he interferes with just lose their sense of closure. Ben is usually much better at being a very fair admin. He at least tries. Also he's the funniest and cutest Yogscast member.
That actually might be fun. An XCOM TTT mode where people pause every number of steps, the traitors given a little more movement and sight range than other players~
Lewis’ abuse there made the entire thing much more boring than the camping. Even without the abuse, the innocents could’ve still won by waiting out the timer, they never had to go to where the traitors had set up. And it’s not like their camping was boring, we had hijinks within and outside the room

I just think he abuses his admin powers, I do like him if he just didn’t have admin, he has a great dynamic with zylus and Duncan, so I feel itd be missing a key component if he wasn’t in them. But admin abusing doesn’t make things fun to watch

@@jt1687 You're right, it's not like that happened... Because it didn't. Ravs put down a grav grenade for fun, which somehow glitched them through the ceiling. Zylus then (unsuccessfully) tried to get away from ravs, so that one of them wouldn't get caught in the other's explosion. Even if one of them survived and tried to hunt down the remaining innocent, the only reason would be due to the traitor explosion time limit.

Rather than (justifiably) commenting on Lewis' abuse of of admin powers, let me just say how much more I appreciate Ben for not doing so. Most of the time, he'll just use them to fix something that urgently needs fixing, and very occasionally to do something else for no other reason than that it is fun, improving the game for both players and viewers in the process.
Ben is the best. Not the best TTT player, but he is #1 best boy.

So far no one defending Lewis's admin abuse has managed to provide an actual valid justification for what was clearly actual cheating.
Camping is boring? Yeah, I guess all of the nonsense that happened during that round was just infinitely less interesting than the two traitors just running around shotgunning everyone and ending the round in 30 seconds. It's not like they didn't successfully kill almost every innocent before Lewis decided to force them to take a loss.
10 minutes of doing nothing? Well, I would argue that they were hardly doing "nothing", but the real problem here is why the fuck are rounds 10 minutes long now? The whole point of them being 5 minutes before was to prevent situations like this, so clearly the extended limit isn't helping.
If it was really necessary to start abusing commands, did Lewis really have to pick the one that gives the traitors 30 seconds to make a move? They spent 15 of those seconds stuck in the ceiling. He could've picked one that affected everybody, or at least one that didn't effectively instantly kill the traitors after they had already killed nearly everyone.
It was bullshit, plain and simple. Genuine, unjustifiable cheating, something Lewis has recently started making a real bad habit of in TTT. The admin abuse was funny at first, but now it's getting old.

They changed mod and have to wait for the creator to adjust round times (or yogscast staff member to adjust round times. I'm not sure with this new mod)
They had multiple credits, multiple items and one person to kill. Even with being soul linked, a minute on a small map like that is enough. Additionally, how was he to know that the ceiling thing would happen? However, I do agree that there are better commands to use in such an instance
Wasn't bullshit at all, they have a limited time to record TTT, whilst they can edit it down to make it more enjoyable for us, by waiting the whole round it takes away from other rounds that they can play that in turn reduces the amount of rounds available for editing and uploading for us to watch. Whilst the command used was wrong, what he did was justified (although making it a level playing field would've been better than killing them)

He has done this for the last couple of videos too... I get he is trying to keep it interesting, but it kind of sucks a lot of the fun out of the game's 'normal' random shenanigans. It's fun to see someone randomly get something that screws them over, not have an admin enable something unfairly like that. Ben does that from time to time, but it is never as blatant or intrusive as THIS.

Lewis has ruined so many potentially epic plays. Imagine if he killed Tom last episode. We would of missed out on the best prop disguise a player ever.
Camping with the original time limit was fine; traitors just lose if they camp too long. They can camp as long as it benefits them, but don't cry when all your traitor toys don't kill the innocents faster than time runs out. When Yogscast changed the time limit, traitor camping became unacceptable. Lewis was in the right.

@@stauner32 In THIS specific example, no I agree. But generally, as a way of speeding up rounds while still keeping the longer timer, thus letting rounds play out and avoiding often very anticlimactic timer-wins, I think it would be a good solution.
To avoid the traitors camping like here, they should really just remove the credit printer. We've had some fun with it, but it incentivices camping and passive play.
That just gives incentives for the traitors to hide and stock up. Then the traitors have a perfect radar and all the means to kill them all.
The actual way to stop admin abuse is to just take admin away from Lewis, since there's nothing wrong the current set up under the assumption admins won't interfere.

Well as the audience we have a lot of say in what happens. If the majority of people dislike him doing something it is generally in his best interest to stop. Sometimes saltiness is funny, but when other people do it its lighthearted, Rythian always sounds geniunely pissed off. Only Ravs and Zylus use it. Lewis also used it once or twice but nobody else really uses it. It's typical Ravs to camp in a traitor room where only traitors can access and wait until the end of the round to leave and try to finish of the innocents.

1. Barnacles.
2. Turrets.
3. Antlions.
The innocents tried to kill them but they stood no chances. Last time I remember the gamemode was about Traitors attacking innocents, not innocents hunting down traitors just so the round could end. It gets super boring when they just camp the entire round and it possibly reduces the amount of rounds we get per video.

Lewis's admin abuse was funny at first but it's getting old fast
My opinion for the second round is that Lewis used admin abuse because both the traitors were already soul linked. And while they were camping they gave themselves away (leading to a funny segment with the editors switching to their screen) and camped for less than 4 mins which would've been fine for the previous round timer as well.
6:45 No really, this is the most BS admin intervention ever. The traitors were already nerfed because of being soulmates with each other, they had to play it safe!
Nah "playing it safe" doesn't mean being unfun and abusing the 8 minute timer by camping in a room

Ravs and Zylus: Effectively forces the innocents to either press a well-fortified position or fight for their lives, while creatively using a traitor weapon to possibly flank the last inno and escape the room they trapped themselves in. All within the rules and boundaries everyone else has to play by.

@The Xenomorphian Just because the traitors may sometimes sacrifice the game for a joke by own admission does NOT mean that it's suddenly ok to use admin abuse to do it for them. The game is fun because of the players doing what they do. Not because of Lewis's use of admin commands whenever he feels a little fucking salty.
We need a randomat that turns TTT into Prop Hunt. Where the innocents are transformed into a random prop and traitors become the hunters. And, visa versa.
Zylus and ravs were already put at such a disadvantage with the soul mate, and they still were gonna win, then Lewis gets ass hurt and abused admin commands and actually ruined this good episode

I mean they used to have the timer on the rounds so that if traitors were forced to make a play. It’s not very fun watching people afk for 9 minutes farming credits imo.

It'd be like !killing them for using a heal station.

I was actually mad when Lewis cheated. Zylus and Ravs were doing the only thing they could in that situation, and it was really entertaining, then he just unceremoniously ruined it.
Camping like nerd might not be fun while playing but what's even less fun is getting invested in a round of TTT only to have an admin end it because he got impatient.

I really do wish they would take Lewis’s admin commands away... when it was Ben who only had the commands the events used to be fun and wacky and unpredictable... when Lewis uses them they tend to be the exact thing over and over like he’s just raging with out trying to make it noticeable. I miss the days when Ben would actually spice up the round instead of being like Lewis and forcing his team to win when he gets butt hurt or something
Literally make Ben the only admin. Lewis does not work as a good DM here. The rounds that he interferes with just lose their sense of closure. Ben is usually much better at being a very fair admin. He at least tries. Also he's the funniest and cutest Yogscast member.

Lewis’ abuse there made the entire thing much more boring than the camping. Even without the abuse, the innocents could’ve still won by waiting out the timer, they never had to go to where the traitors had set up. And it’s not like their camping was boring, we had hijinks within and outside the room

tbh I don't think it was fair that traitors, who lose after the time runs up anyway, were literally set to lose just for playing the game... they were soul-linked so being more cautious and having innocents come to them is totally fair.

It is tough if Lewis is the one who glued the guys together in many videos, but nowadays, I don't like his way to make TTT videos entertaining. Maybe just my preference or opinion...
I just think he abuses his admin powers, I do like him if he just didn’t have admin, he has a great dynamic with zylus and Duncan, so I feel itd be missing a key component if he wasn’t in them. But admin abusing doesn’t make things fun to watch
@The Xenomorphian I know you're talking about Simon and Lewis's legendary minecraft series... but I actually found out about yogscast because of Sips' solo work on youtube and then Sips and Sjin's minecraft vids. Not AS much RP in that one, but some! ;)
