Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
Declared “The Best Musical of the Decade” by Entertainment Weekly and “A Cultural Phenomenon” by Variety, WICKED is based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Winnie Holzman. The production is directed by Joe Mantello with musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

It’s so incredible that she is the new Broadway Elphaba because 1.shes brand new to the role (most start out on tour or standby) 2. It’s her Broadway Debut! Image the first time you’ve ever performed on a Broadway stage you’re Elphaba. She must be incredible.
As soon as I saw her with the glasses on I was like “yeah. She’s Elphie”.
Then I saw her in the NGD dress and lost my shit.
Best of luck to her. I can’t wait to hear about how much of a success she’ll be.

Obviously no two people are built exactly the same. They production team create each costume for each new cast member to their exact measurements so they fit perfectly.
She is actually phenomenal!

Never clicked on a video so fast lol! Love how supportive Wicked fans are! I know Jessica Vosk will be missed but it's so nice to see the excitement for a new Elphaba as well. It's always bittersweet when one leaves. But this is why Wicked has been popular for 15 years. There are just as many amazing future Elphaba's out there as those who have already come before. And... it also give me another reason to go see it again😂!

im seeing wicked in September since all of the shows are going to be back after covid.
We saw her back in February this year (2020) before the lockdown for quarantine and she was AWESOME!!! Loved the show and her!!! 💚💚💚
