Tony, If you can find them cheap enough....have a look at the intake manifolds from a DB9 V12 (DBS version is the best) they're a good upgrade and not as wide as the DB7 intake, while also putting the throttle bodies further forward, angled down and outwards slightly. Keep up the killer content!!!
@StayTunedTA Hey Tony, ride tech came out with a sla front suspension for the foxbody. You can modify the shock towers . It gets ride off the struts . And use a tubular k member. Plus you can run s550 big brakes or cobra ones. It's $$ but probably worth it.
The last 4-5 minutes of this are 100% hilarious. You can feel the "omg how are we gonna do this" without it being said. Absolutely love it guys. You're killing it as always.
If i remember correctly, that engine is derived from 2 taurus 3.0s put together. Also, the Maximum motorsports manual brake kit is great for these cars and doesn't feel bad to drive on the street or track. And a Maximum k-member would probably help alot with header clearance and space to build mounts etc
Maximun Motorsports parts are the best out there for the '80's-2000's Mustangs. Had some their parts on my 1990 GT and they completely transformed the car. Handled like it was on rails and I just had their basic street setup. Wish I'd kept the car and kept going with the build, I didn't have the tubular k-member & control arms or any of their rear suspension parts on it so it could have been even better...
@@TireSlayer55 Maximum makes alot of great stuff! I've got their rear upper arms and bushings and panhard bar on my drift car. And the manual brake kit on our 24 hours of lemons build.
Two Duratec 3.0's, yes. Although it's a bit more complex than that (a lot of bespoke engineering went into this 5.9 litre). But some things are basically off the shelf parts, like the front timing cover and balancer.
I have essentially the entire front half of the MM max grip box and IRS in my fox. Top quality parts. The only thing I’d say that could be better is the Griggs Racing front end because the SLA setup would let them cut some of the strut tower away to make room for this monster. The downside is it’s painfully expensive.
One thing to keep in mind with this is those motors are based on a V6. They still use the V6 oilpump. Change the oil pump out for a high volume, even stock these things would spin more bearings than a Skidpan. No bs
One of coolest, best conditioned rollers I've ever seen. The seats, motor, and trans are all things that can get replaced anyway. And no pesky harnesses and cables in the way. Awesome find!
I am definitely impressed you found an engine big enough to not fit in a fox body. That is kind of hard to do actually! I love the uncommon projects you do. Keep it up!
Soo friggin pumped about this project guys and can't wait to see this entire build. Thank you for sharing, everyone keep yourselves and love ones safe and healthy and remember to SMILE 😊
@@StayTunedTA man that motor would be killer in a 63 Lincoln four-door with the suicide doors, and some 22 or 24 inch wire Dayton on it and airbags. You never expect that sound from that big of a car
This build is going to be so entertaining. I can’t wait to hear it! I hope you keep the 5.0 emblems on it 😂 I really like how you start these episodes by showing us the whole buying process. I kinda enjoy that part myself when starting a project. I love scoring a cool motorcycle on the cheap!
Would be really cool to see ITBs on this thing but also you can delete the strut towers with Ridetechs SLA front suspension. Might be something to look into, to save room.
Really appreciate you guys openly discussing the cost of the projects. Keeps it realistic and makes the projects more relatable. Keep up the killar work!!
I love the off the wall builds. This is the cool shit I always hope to find on Marketplace because I don't have the shop space to pull these off. Glad we can live vicariously through your builds.
Hello. I am a car enthusiast from Malta and love your videos man! If you don't mind accepting a tip: The way I see this being done time efficiently and cost effectively is to cut everything from the windshield forwards, mock the engine in place on stands and then custom build a tube chassis & exhaust manifolds (headers if you please) around the engine/motor once you position it where you want it to be & then fit steering column & rack and everything around it. 100% custom.
You might have to cut the firewall & transmission tunnel ro have engine fitting as backwards & low as possible as well as I would suggest going dry 'sump lubrication' and this way having a completely flat 'oil pan' would facilitate the mounting of steering rack & other components. This build could make an insane drift missile or drag weapon adding twin-turbos to the mix!
My father always complains that the Cable TV auto shows he watches are all boring bolt on stuff. Showed him these videos and he was overjoyed. Keep up the awesome videos and I'm sure the channel will grow quickly.
I love Fox Bodies and I love the V12 plan. Custom headers, like y'all said, will be needed and maybe ditch the dual intake manifolds for some ITB's down the middle with a cowl induction hood for hood clearance. Rear mounted radiator or ditch the front bumper support. Very excited for this build and keep up the great work boys! ❤
30 seconds into the episode, and I know I'm gonna love it! Always loved your appearances in roadkill! Favorite new channel! Let's go boys! Love how you go against the grain. Would love to see some more crossovers with lz, or jimmy. Could take or leave tj. Lol just like giving him a hard time. Another cool one would be a race between your s10 and tommyfyeahs gtr!
If I remember correctly, the 6.0 V12 vantage engine was essentially two Taurus 3.0 Duratec engines joined together. So this build is super exciting and interesting to me.
Will continue watchin. I really appreciate how real life the whole process is no gimmicks (Still love ya VGG) no production company...it's good talent on camera having a good time and it shows. Keep up the good work.

Solid axle gasser to get rid of those huge shock towers. Don’t forget the biggest firewall notch so you can get the weight moved back. Fits like an old glove.
I just picked up a foxbody for my channel and ive been trying to cook up an interesting swap idea but this is WILD!! cant wait to see this thing ripping!!
The fox body is nice , I was thinking a old LTD 2 door would have been a cool ride to put that in. But that thang aught to be nuts when you get it running and driving.👍
I’m watching this alone but I genuinely got up out of my seat laughing and applauding when the V12 was sitting there squeezed into the fox body engine bay. It looks gloriously ridiculous. Can’t wait to see and hear it running!

Hydroboost off of 96-04 Mustang and a tubular K member with Mod motor mounts will probably be a big step forward to helping everything fit. (if you want to keep power brakes and steering.)
also the foxes originally had an Inline 6 so there should be plenty of room! I wanted to 2j swap mine for years but the cost of them got insane.. Now I keep eyeing the Atlas 4200 motors since artec makes that nice manifold now..
I dig this project, I’m glad you are keeping a Ford motor in a Ford. I’m a fan of the 94-98 SN95 cars, which are the same chassis with a sleeker body. To me, that would have been a more “American Aston”-looking car. Regardless, this is going to be so cool.
Oh man... tunnel ram style Intake with a front LS style throttle body. Custom headers, QA1 k-member. That thing will be sweet as hell. Love the random combos. Fantastic!
This is a super cool build! something that really makes it for me is that the original P-51 Mustang, the plane the car is named after, had a Rolls Royce British Merlin v12! Not sure if anyone made that connection but that makes me super stoked for this build!

I’ve seen so many swaps in these foxbodys . Coyote, 351, LS and Godzilla motors but a V12 in the lightest American muscle car is gonna be insane. That V12 is huge I bet it’s gonna be super tight getting it in. I’m very excited to see part 2 on this project. Can’t wait. Great content 👍
That is one hell of a massive motor for that mustang. I would have picked the turbocouope. It was almost the same price but at least it was a complete car. You got a lot of work ahead of you to slip that thing in there. It will be sweet when its done
I’m pumped to see this episode. My first car was pretty much that car 90 LX, 5.0, 5 speed, maroon, leather interior. I put H&R springs and a bunch of suspension stuff under it and a Ford racing clutch in my driveway. Sold it in 03 with 75k miles on it. That car reminds me a lot of it and I can’t wait to hear that V12
You could do away with the shock towers with Ridetech’s new front suspension for the fox chassis. Looks like you may need that room. Super excited to follow this build!

Wilwood 3 pedal box. Has the masters mounted off the pedals themselves for brake and clutch. Might have to modify the firewall a bit but it'll give you a lot of room in the bay
Finally the Aston motor returns! You gotta reconsider on the chassis though. I just saw a Panoz Roadster for sale up here in the Northwest on Marketplace. It’s all SN95 Mustang running gear underneath. It’d be perfect. Think about it… 😂
I had a 91 Thunderbird Super Coupe with the 3.8l V6 Supercharged. I loved that car, the drive train was great, the body rusted off the car. It was a Steve Colletti built and tuned car, was the first car I ever had tuned and dyno'd, 298 whp 414 ft lbs, that was in 1999, with bolt on's, port work, custom exhaust, and ecm tuning. I've been thinking about those headers. You could cut them all apart and just use all those bends like a header kit, even the three into two or six into two lol. Love the show! I've been watching since the start.
Wish you would have gone with the Lincoln Mark Vll. I had an 1988 Mark Vll in high school with the HO 5.0. Dark silver with grey leather interior would have been perfect for that V12.

I've been thinking about those headers. You could cut them all apart and just use all those bends like a header kit, even the three into two or six into two lol. Love the show! I've been watching since the start.
Wow!!! This is going to be intense. I am a huge mustang / Aston Martin guy and I am very excited to see how this turns out. Great choice.
Wish you would have gone with the Lincoln Mark Vll. I had an 1988 Mark Vll in high school with the HO 5.0. Dark silver with grey leather interior would have been perfect for that V12.
Im glad you went with the foxbody over ripping apart that really nice turbo coupe
This is going to be an epic build and i'm sure it will be incredible when completed! It is also going to be a very long road to get that monster of an engine in that car! Can't wait to see it all unfold! Thanks for the great content!
The rx7 is sick! Can’t wait for the fox body build 👍🏽
Tony buy a delete kit for the shock towers and you will have a lot of room. Love everything you do from another PA guy living in Mn
Thanks! Might get a Griggs kit going, used their stuff on our SN95 and it was great!
You aren't only mechanics, you are artists.
Manual brakes, Tubular k member, tubular front end from the towers forward, u joint style steering shaft, and you save alotttt of space right there
Absolutely wild, I love it!
