I have a real .22 gun and its mounted in an SA80 stock and you could take it to an airsoft arena and they wouldn't know the difference, when they chrono everyone gun I could simply swap the real gun for my airsoft SA80

Rule 4 is an actual military tactic.
But of course it isn't that fair. Rule #1 of a CQB encounter: "NEVER ENGAGE IN A FAIR FIGHT".
What military? The Taliban? With an airsoft gun with no recoil, throwing your gun around a corner and firing might be somewhat effective, but with a real assault rifle, you are going to have issues. Second, most trained militaries want their soldiers to actually aim their weapons when they fire so that they hit what they are shooting at, and so that they can positively identify their target and don't go killing their friends or civilians. I know for certain that I was never trained to blind fire.

That's how people tell it's a airsoft and not a real gun.
I don't know how is in others countries, but here in Brazil, all airsoft guns must have a red or orange tips, it's a law from army, if you don't follow it you lost your gun and have to pay a fine too.

Same here in the US, you have to either have the orange tip on or have a way of telling it's a fake gun / or there's nothing in the chamber.

Дмитрий Баскаков the law says you have to use the tips everywhere, but in practice there is no problem to keep it without the tip at your home, per example. But isn't recommended to carry the gun (even hidden on your car) without the tip, because you will have a problem if a cop stops you for any reason. Also, the law says you have always to carry your gun quietly/hidden, so, you can't carry it on your back walking out there, even with the tip =p About fake guns, they are forbidden if are too similar of a real one, in this case they're called "simulacro" here.
Here is my own list that I have gained from personal experience with cheaters and a-holes.
Never call your hits
Use as many grenades and claymores as you can
Shoot from close range (especially with slugs)
Use as much profanity directed at other people as you can
Aim for the face at close range
Aim for the places you don't want to be hit. (you know the places I mean)
Use bottle rockets as grenades (yes bottle rockets)
camp in one spot for as long as possible
Make sex jokes the entire time.
Toast Busters nah sex jokes be funny.

Claymores cost too much here. Lol
Airsofters and Pbers don't care about camping, Most ppl never camp in a good spot anyways.

Using the respawn as a shelter is cheating though. The rules are if someone is in the respawn after the game begins, they are considered dead. Regardless of ANYTHING that may have happened. In the spawn? You're dead. Your shots don't count.

Last summer I got my tooth shot out.
There was a small shanty cottage where I had confirmed two enemies and was expecting one to be behind the corner of the window.
I shot the two whom where guarding the door from behind and slung my M16A3 in a blind-firing stance. But I didn't shoot, I only yelled shots and hoped that the supposed enemy would get the message and call his hits in respect to me respecting the range from which I didn't shoot him with BB's.
But one of the kids I had took out first decided to be an asshole and shoot me in the face despite being out already.
Well, not illegal. There's no law.

I had someone whom I shot but did not like me so he walked up point blank and went full auto at my knuckles and face. I was only wearing low eye pro and a scarf.

There is nothing wrong with Blindfire, if a sniper has you pinned down you are not going to step out into the open and try to kill him because the Sniper already has a beat on you and if you try to step out BOOM game over sorry but blindfire has it's Pros.
Its stupidly dangerous! you don't know what you're shooting and its not an aimed shot. i can't even believe you think its viable?
The only way i see it being Dangerous is if nobody is wearing any protective gear and all fields require protective gear including full face masks which is most important plus the fact that we use plastic BBs which are not Armor Piercing but i suppose if plastic BBs were armor piercing yeah it would be dangerous another good reason for Blindfire is to suppress fire so that the enemy is focused on you while your team flanks and they also make Tactical Mirrors you can attach to your gun that lets you see around corners.
We play with safety as the foremost concern. Not all places use full face mask. Even at that we have safety distances in place with each powerlevel. Blindly fireing a 120 m/s-430 fps point blank into someone HURTS alot. I'm not in this game to hurt people but to have fun. We don't allow blindfire since it might mean that someone has advanced too close for you to use your gun with the safetydistance and you will actively hurt someone by fireing blindly. Suppresive fire isn't done blindly. It's directed or else it's virtually useless at distance. Fireing without directly aiming is not a tactic employed by people who have played the game for some time. Atleast that is what I have observed after 14 years in the game. Sorry you will not convince me that blindly fireing is a good tactic nor a good thing when it comes to safety.

you don't hold a pistol by the bottom because it will have more upward recoil because it is on a pivot. same way a hammer works. further down the handle you hold the more power the head will have.

Hi. I'm thinking of getting into airsoft and am a total clueless noob when finding the right gear to play with. Can anyone help me out? :)
start small and work your way up. first things first, work on your cardio. milsim airsoft games are the most fun in my opinion but they are also the most physically demanding. airsoft can be a money pit just as much as paintball so get a good starter gun that will last you a while, some safety glasses, and find a field in your area and go to a game. I recommend an echo1 or g&g m4. theyre cheaper, reliable, perform well and can be easily upgraded if needed.
I started with a tactical AK-47 and a mask. worked my way up from there. Now I have a thigh holster for my M1911, a G36C, the AK, and a tac vest with capacity for another M4 mag. Oh, and a grenade. Need dem nades.

Is rule 4 actually a thing on airsoft fields?
Most places ban it because it can smash teeth, eye protection and just generally badly injure people at close range. You should NEVER do rule 4 unless you want to get punched in the face by the person

What pisses me off is those people that scream "I HAVE A KEVLAR VEST ON HURHURHUR YOU CANT SHOOT ME" even though their "Kevlar Vest" turned into an overglorified sweatervest an hour ago. Personal rule: If someone is wearing proper body armor that my gun would not be able to penetrate then more power to them (Ceramic/Steel Body Armor, type IV or better), they get a pass. But, if someone is wearing a thin type IIa kevlar vest that wouldn't protect against many 9x19mm loads, then I get angry.
Also the people that use AKM/-47 mags in their AK-74 or vice versa.

really he can wear them aslong as he doesnt tell people he's actually military, unless he was really military in the first place.
if he's honest with them and he's really just wearing them for fun, then he's fine, but if he's being dishonest and posing around then he should remove them.
In Minnesota, pretty much every field doesn't allow patches you didn't earn, UNLESS, it is an official reenactment scenario.

our fields are fine with patches, but if you go over and say things like "ya bro i was a marine" when you weren't, you'll be kicked out and or yelled at by the vets that are playing

***** I would never wear a patch from the military of my country to show respect to any veterans who may be on the field but I have no issues wearing foreign patches. I believe these guys are Slovakians so wearing US patches shouldn't be seen as disrespectful.
