Hi everyone, this is the build I have used the most for a very long time in the game and thought I'd share. I know most people post "highest DPS" or "most damage" builds, but sometimes you just need something which is fun, practical and fast at the same time that you can carry across most content. I use this build for: Elder Rifts Erebban normal Bounties normal Dungeons Terror Rifts Accursed Tower Open World exploration
With enough cooldown reduction and beneficial effects duration you can run Bleak Augury with 100% uptime. Then you can use other essences and set items you use currently for movement buffs. As you mentioned movement buffs don’t stack on each other, so having only one buff up at all times is very good. Also, have you tried using the Golum size affix at 4/4 with Wiltbloom (Golum suit)? Its movement speed is horrendously fast. Here is my speed build: Soulfire, Wraith Form, Grim Scythe, Corpse Lance, Bone Armor Inscrutable Watcher Shared Service Unfilled Grave Defiling Swarm Departed Appetite Bleak Augury Revenant Wind Spite-Fetor 4/2/2 grace/vithu/banquet Thanks for giving us interesting necro content.
I definitely agree with your movement speed suggestions. I think 2 vithus might make the difference in 100% bleak augury uptime for laurethUK. If not, he can probably get it through reforges, enchants, and head and shoulder runes (beneficial effects duration is more versatile, since CD reduction has a 30% cap per skill). I would run the standard sustained dps summoner set combo of 4 shepherds / 4 vithus if I were running a similar build, and use different shoulders, such as the crit damage ones. LaurethUK still has some of the best necro content. Auroth even more or less ripped off his challenge dungeon build. Idk if Auroth was aware. If not, then it must be a case of “great minds think alike.”
Yeah in my video I did suggest that you could remove the two Shepards with 2 Vithu's, but I'd rather have the extra damage as I have enough movement speed coming from everywhere and the cooldown is so quick it's easy to keep it going, and at times you'll be stopping to fight anyway. The Summoner DPS build you mentioned is one I like to use in Challenge Dungeons and Challenge Rifts, as its a great balance (but for Dungeons I prefer a little more speed to keep up), plus the whole reason I started with Necromancer at launch is because I wanted to use summons 😀. And as for the other builds you mentioned from elsewhere, yeah they are great too and ones I have tried but haven't posted, as I don't find them as practical for myself personally. They are incredible for their damage/DPS, but with the Warband / Clan members I usually spam dungeons and cap Elder Rifts with, I just can't keep up 😬. I play with some crazy fast and competitive players. No point aiming to have the highest amount of damage if you get to the enemies / boss too late and can't dish out the full potential of damage. You end up lagging behind and taking out the tail ends of enemies, and bosses already have a little health taken down before you can get going. Sacrificing a little damage and adding a bit of speed is the sweet spot, we need to be ahead/in front at all times 😉. Thanks for commenting!
Fantastic comment Trivalen! I hope this helps anyone else out with some ideas too. Nice idea to keep the duration going. Yeah I cycle between 50% & 70%, because the cooldown isn't bad I just keep switching between them. I've not got 4/4 of the Golem size affix but that's also a fun idea, speeding through content as a Golem! Cheers for sharing your essences too. Really appreciate your comment, thank you. Looking forward to posting more Necromancer content!
I just wanted to ask a GK question, since you have an affix that can help you to summon additional skeleton...what if you equip a head essence "CROWN OF THE GILDED LEASH" which help you to summon a single skeleton champion...does the affix allows you to summon additional skeleton champion ?
Hi, thanks a lot for watching and commenting, appreciate that! Have fun with the build, I love it and enjoy doing most content with it, unless it's something more serious.

Hi bro can you post something like your best DPS build for necro ?

I will try when my necro have enough item and gems
