I’d love to join but I am not living in the states (UK)....... for everyone else sulking across the pond... §2 of the official rules for the giveaway section stipulates US only 48 states excluding Hawaii and some other peripheral area that I can’t remember now. Oh well.....

My dad rode for 40+ years, raced drag bikes in the 70’s, and the RC51 put the biggest smile I had ever seen on his face. Awesome bike.
The old owner may have lost his driving privileges on base for a DUI and needed to sell it for court and lawyer fees.
That sounds about right. Never heard of a contract or MOS that doesn't allow motorcycle riding.

I’d say you’re probably right. Never heard of this. Plenty of flight crew friends and other “high valued” jobs and they don’t have this “rule”.
That sounds like a more believable story.
There are MOS and rates that do restrict enlisted from riding. My son has one of them.
Don't know much about this bike, I know Maxy had one. Looks and sounds amazing. Looking forward to learning about it on this channel. Glad you have a wide array of motorcycle interests on your channel.

That dude got a dui, I’ve worked with all branches with grunts, air crew and special forces and ride with guys from E-3 to O-6. Just have to have your rider courses and ppe, there’s no contract that says no to motorcycle riding 😂😂

I love the idea of a 159 but for a giveaway bike some might not b able to handle that much power, just my opinion. I think a 131 done right will be enough but either way I'm watching and bidding!
From my point of view giving away a motorcycle is risky even if you give away a 50cc scooter, and a 131 Harley, like blockhead´s is such a beast too, the carziest the rider the more danger on a bike, not a cc matter.
And I see your point here, but really, I don´t see a big cc bike a problem, more than any other bike in non "expert" hands.

The 1 litre duck eater. Man that brings back some great memories. I had an 01 for my first motorcycle ever. That thing was amazing. I've been kicking myself for years after trading it, and have always wanted to find another one.
Being close to 400 pounds I’m no sport biker but that is an iconic beast right there.

I had never heard of any kind of military contract that limits your type of POV, personally operated vehicle. Outside of proper gear, the military can't tell you what to drive. Hell, I used to ride with super kill SEAL Sniper Ranger Recon guys. Only contract that I can think of that can tell you not to ride is marriage... 🤔
Snipers are as long from valuble. In war they die all the time. A General's driver are more importent.

159 would be absolutely nuts, but in the best ways possible. 131 is bad ass don't get me wrong, I use to watch 'em get built when I was working in parts at my local Harley last year. BUT, how many people have seen a 159?

That’s the best looking mirrors I’ve ever seen on a sport bike.
It´s not an old Bike Block. Sure not new right. I ride a Yamaha 600 Sporttourer build 93. It´s in Top Notch Condition and rides like a Champ. So reliable for that Age. She has no ABS or Double Brake System. Not even a Fuel Gauge but a Reserve Handle lol.
Ducati killer! Amazing bike, would love to ride it some day! So ahead of it's time, especially with that dashboard

in 2005 I was torn between the R1 and the RC51. Rode the R1 through 40,000 miles today, but the RC will always be the one that got away.
What a great bike! I had a 2002 RC51. Loved it. Regretted letting it go.
My buddy drove his out (in his truck) from sanfran to chitown so I can experience this moto. That v twin is super nice and honestly not too cramped when riding. When I went out to visit him he also has an R1M and I still prefer the RC51 over that just cause I am a twin kind of guy. lookin fwd to seeing what ya do with this.. cheers.

I had a 2001 RC51...they are AWESOME BIKES!!! Granted they are nowhere near as fast as a modern sportbike....but it is a KILLER BIKE!!! The "Support" is called a fairing stay...LOLZ. This guy did a ton of stuff to this bike already...so once you said you werent doing much to it, I was pretty much already telling myself tehre wasnt much to be done unless you were going BIG dollars for Suspension, Rearsets, etc... I had kevlar lines, corbin seat, and a ton of carbon fiber from oversea's added to mine...there were huge online followings for it that had some great tunes for the PC3.... Thats an AWESOME FIND!!! I look for them every few months to see whats out there and 95% of them are BEAT and the other 5% are WAY overpriced.

Man I tried to buy one in December, drove all the way from Florida to North Carolina and it was completely shit and the guy lied about everything on it. He didnt even have oil in it! I've rode my buddies RC51 a few times already and even made a motovlog on it. Best bike I have ever ridden and only bike I ever care for really.
