I'm doing a charity stream tomorrow at 2pm PDT here on the channel. I'll be gaming and giving stuff away, like peripherals from Corsair and my 7900 XT. Hope you can join!
Love your content man! Videos like this and your Lyle vids are my favorite lol I love when you go to microcenter and give your build to a fan! Tell Lyle I said hi!!!!! ❤️❤️
Bro why did you feel the urgent need to set your "Test Stream" private? Would it have been so much of an effort to just leave it at UNLISTED instead that you simply couldn't achieve the feat? I was nice n chill watching some of the most enjoyable content to be seen from you in a while only to be kicked off right in the middle for what seemed to be no effing reason whatsoever ... sad move dude, really sad move :T
Glad to see you back in good spirits, and happy, doing what you love. I know it's been years, but i know at one point you were going through a rough time. We love you dude!
that asus tuf is an exception which cuts down bandwidth from other components when you use a pci-express 5.0 ssd, so pci-express 5.0 is not worth it on b650 and not even b650e
It's called Micro Center but it doesn't look Micro at all. And these techs got even more advanced than the office of the FBI or in a Battleships. Lol I love computer builds, and i love watching it because i will not lose parts or even break a part😂. Thank you so much!❤
Actual shoplifting can not only get you fined, but you can go to jail for a long-assed time. I wouldn't recommend it. What Kyle is talking about is he's sponsored and he can actually do this kind of thing and STILL stay monetized. Love your content, bro!
Back when I was a kid I was so inlove with the idea of a PC matching all the brands that I could. But now that I'm old even though I have the money for it I can't see myself spending an extra 50-70% of the total cost just to buy matching stuff. 2nd time I built a PC back then I wanted to make an all ROG build which was almost $2500, but for the same performance with different brands I could get it for just $1,200. I still follow that principle to this day.
I CANNOT wait to finally do this myself (albeit without an unlimited budget, but I'm still gonna ball out as much as I can) when a Micro Center FINALLY opens near me next month!! It's only gonna be a couple hours away, but the bad part is it's gonna be in a big city, lol. I'll tolerate it for this, though. I'm finally gonna build an updated/current rig and get back into PC gaming again!
@@PyrotechnicMailmanwait what? I'm really wanting to take my kids to buy the parts for their systems in store, but they aren't competing with online pricing from what I see
Interestingly, that 7800X3D was manufactured in the 23rd week of 2023, so early June 2023. Therefore it was manufactured 10-11 month ago. I wonder who sits on the stock - AMD, or Micro Centre? Either way, that's gotta cost in storage over time if stock is regularly sitting for 11 months!
I am totally fine with a case not coming with fans and actually prefer it since I always install something better and feel guilty by removing the factory fans on day one during assembly.
Micro Center 30 minutes away in Cincinnati. And I drive all over the city and often stop in on lunch hour when up there, which is why I have built 3 PC's and Upgraded my desktop 3 times. Comes with a cost. In the last year spent over 2K on GPU's MB's and CPU's, and the rest. Have now 6 GPU's 3 AMD, 3 Intel. Not counting the other 3 AMD had already.
And I came home today to find out they have postponed the Charlotte MircroCenter grand opening with no set date. Glad you got to enjoy the store. I'm gonna have to wait...well I dunno how much longer.
One day I want to be able to walk into micro center grab a bunch of hardware and even though I'll have to pay for it before leaving it'll still be an amazing feeling. Until then I shall live vicariously through your videos lol.
I would love to have a Micro Center shopping spree. I have updated my PC in years. MSI 1080 GTX and a 1950x TR... The only upgrades have been going to all m.2 drives.
Is this build looks close to the "PowerSpec G717 Gaming PC Platinum Collection" that micro center sells. While not all the better brands but sort of close to the power.

@@ryze9153 I feel your pain. I wish they'd place their stores farther apart. I understand economics but no Denver or Seattle? it's ridiculous. I bet Oklahoma City has one. If they do, that would not be cool.
I have a question about Micro Center... and the question is. Do they ship things to people's homes? the reason why i ask is because every time i try and order something from them they say i can pick it up at my local MC store. Well my state doesn't have a MC store. Yeah i know that is a silly question but i had to ask.
Am I the only one kinda peeved about the mixing of TUF and ROG parts? Lol. It might just be me, but if you're going with a certain brand theme, stick to it for all of the parts. The TUF GPU would've looked so much better in this than the Strix, but it doesn't have RGB. Also the ROG AIO, I would've switched out for something like the NZXT 360 AIO and switched their fans out for the TUF fans. Minimal RGB, and a classy low-key look.
Same! If you're signed up for the MC email newsletter they have an insider early opening day of May 8th, just FYI. I can't freaking wait! EDIT: I literally JUST got an email from the Micro Center CEO saying that there has been an "unforseen delay" in the opening of the Charlotte store... 😭🤬 "Dear Valued Charlotte Customers, Unfortunately, there has been an unforeseen delay to our Charlotte Grand Opening on May 10th. Understanding the inconvenience this may cause, we want to deeply apologize for it. We are so grateful for the excitement around the Charlotte location and are working diligently to ensure the store exceeds your expectations. Our team will be stocking the shelves with over 25,000 different computers and electronic products, preparing the store for the many years to come. Your continued patience and support are sincerely appreciated. We will be updating you in the upcoming weeks on a new Grand Opening date and can’t wait to finally open our doors in Charlotte. Stay tuned because you won’t want to miss our amazing Grand Opening deals including PC part bundles and 20% off the sale price of all Windows laptops and desktops, plus so many more everyday low prices."

I honestly thought that non-RGB fans would lead to a not-so-attractive look but I have to admit..it looks pretty darn good..Great job Kyle.
Fun fact: those power cables are not actually sleeved, they just have a pattern imprinted on the insulation. But they do look very nice indeed.
