The event you drove by in Mulege was the Rotary Club fundraiser pig races. It was fun!

Nothing like coming over that hill and seeing that first glimpse of Conception Bay! And yes, pretty spectacular to be anchored on your own sailboat at Santispac or around the corner, which we have been lucky enough to do! Scattered some of my dad’s ashes at Coyote...

That road really reinforces why we chose a truck camper! Thanks for sharing your music source; We were just wondering that very thing!

This video made me happy to see that people can travel with no problems. I hear all these horror stories about cartels and Baja and I was thinking nobody could travel there. It was also nice to see there are still beautiful places where there are close to no people. And not everywhere is built up with homes!! Thanks for your videos!! My parents are 90 now. I’m going to show them your video and beam it on their tv. They are going to get a kick out of your Baja Videos 🤗🤗

There is always an element of risk no matter where you are. So far Baja hasn’t experienced the problems of mainland Mexico.

Wow! Lots of people. The last time I went to Baja was in 1980 and I remember there was not a sole on the roads. We went in a motorhome with uncle and aunts and cousins. And we went off a road exploring and we got to a point where we had to drive through a dirt road that met a small river and kids were lathering up with soap taking baths. Lol! Then we kept driving until we came to a small village on a bluff and the houses were made with tin roofs. There were only like 7 little houses. All the people there were fishermen. But they used to fish with tiny blue boats. They came to meet us and before we knew it they accepted us as though we were family. They took us out on their tiny blue boats and they had generators on the boat that blew our air. They would tie a hose to the generator put a small diving mask on and stick the hose in their mouth and dive down into the water and bring up tons of lobster cages filled with lobster and fish. The lobster 🦞 were Huge! I’m 5’2” and if I held the lobster, no joke the lobster went from my chest down almost to the ground. We saw tortoise and dolphins and they took us to an island nearby.
Later that night they brought a Huge pot to our campsite and made the lobster. They also caught some kind of fish that were red and black. And small sharks. We had a feast. . The fish had big teeth. These people were so nice. They had an outdoor shower made out of wood with a door and no roof.
It was the best vacation I can remember. The kids had pet dogs and pet geese. And the geese were like watch dogs. Sometimes they chased us until I befriended one! Lol I wish we had kept in touch with these families they were so nice. We never remembered how to get back to that place since we found it on accident. I often wonder if the place is built up with homes now. It was a beautiful bluff and there was nothing around. The men used to go hunt at night as well. You brought back all those memories. To think now we have GPS and in those days all we had was a map lol!! How things have changed.

I'm sorry, I would not RV in Mexico. (Enough said) I use to live in Mexico and it's hard to grocery shop. The pesos . Was a little hard at first. But eventually got the hang of it. But always remember, there's no friends when it comes to money. . Everyone is out for a peso.. got tierd of the loneliness

Hello. I’m sure the Fuso does great off road. I have a similar pickup and Lance truck camper. How does that thing do off road down there? Thank you. Great videos.
