How I trained myself to study 10 hours a day and not burn out (how to stay focused)

    Studying is an art form that requires your body to be in tip-top shape in order to perform at a high level. Just like how marathon runners train their endurance to accomplish tremendous physical feats, I too have trained my body to accomplish mental feats. These are evidence-based ways that I have reached peak performance.
    🙏 Thanks for watching!

      i was working towards a career i didnt want (i was basically ego studying, taking hard stem classes and pushing myself to the extreme to get unnecessarily good grades) and i honestly felt depressed when i thought about my future
      now that i am studying in an area i am interested in i feel like i just want to know more and more, like it energises me instead of making me tired and burnt out

    Smoothie recipe! 2 scoops of naked whey, 1 cup of Greek yogurt, 2-3 cups of any frozen fruit combinations, 2 handfuls of nuts or 2 tablespoons of chia/flaxseed, and top with your choice of greens! Fill 1/3 of your blender with your milk choice. When I use Almond milk, it fits my 40/40/20 macros perfectly, makes 2 servings and keeps me full for about 3-4 hours :)

    Remember guys, if you cannot study 8 hours a day then don’t beat yourself up for it. Everyone’s brains are wired differently. Honestly there are so many videos talking about how to study x amount of hours per day and it’s getting pretty toxic. If you can study this much per day in a healthy way, great. But all of these videos produce a negative side effect of guilt of some people who cannot physically study that long a day. At the end of the day, you know yourself best.

    is it ok to sleep 4-5 hours in the night?
    i sleep at around 12 and I've to wake up early between 4 to 5 to study.
    not that i feel hyperactive when i wake up to study but my hands are too full with a lot of things right now. And i do a heavy workout 6 times a week and study for 11-12 hours.
    i hope you or anyone can put their opinion about my lifestyle because me myself feel that i'm working hard and i'm satisfied but when people get to know this lifestyle and specially my sleep cycle they open their eyes wide and start telling me yoU're not healthy and this distracts me. May be they don't want to me to work hard as they are my competitors or may be they are right. opinions please. INDIA

    For me, the reason is to find a good incentive and avoid traps. For example if you care about learning and not results in exams, you will find study easier and more fun! Grade hunting is not as benefitial.Furthermore, just excersice. You need to study everyday so as to increase your studying capacity. you cant expect to study from 5 minutes to 10 hours

    Hi Mike and Matty. I am starting to implement RemNote to my system thanks to your guidance. However, can you make some videos regarding Cloze vs Regular flash cards like when is the best time to use either of those. And also, I am taking my Pharmacology class this semester and I really want to memorize the condensed information on the tables given, I tried to make some cards but I think it is inefficient still, perhaps you could shed some insights there? Thank you and have a nice day.

    I tried not drinking coffee (Limited to 2 cups a day before) and found I can think and focus much better than when I drank Coffee. Now I just drink when I really need a boost. It’s so much better. I get the boost and the joy of drinking coffee this way, and If I don’t drink I still feel better than before when I drank coffee daily.

    I was constantly studying for 12-14 hours a day for almost a month and selpt for only 4 hours cs I also have spent time with my family and baby sister. But last 2days I couldn't study for an hour my brain was totally jammed couldn't concentrate at all, plus I was feeling extremely tired . So I decided to take a break for 2days with no study at all. Today I slept for 7 hours and already feeling alot better nd refresh.

  • @zoerica
    @zoerica 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    As someone who had difficulty studying for even 1 hour, I must say studying for 10 hours is really easy now.
    It took me 4-5 months to arrive here. The mistake we make is we think we can achieve it in one day, but you will never.
    1) start by studying 1 hour for one week. Increase to 2 hours the next week and you will arrive to 10 hours one day in the future.
    2) dont study at night because you will feel tired towards rest of the day. Manage your sleep schedule. Sleep for 8 hours (compulsory)
    3) Just don't worry if you cant study for 10 hours. Don't blame yourself.

    • @cottonhxney
      @cottonhxney 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Follow your natural circadian rhythm. Getting 5+ hrs won’t be as productive n beneficial if you’re trying to work with a migraine and an uncomfortable feeling anyways. You know yourself and health best. Take advice and try to apply it where it fits, not use it as a cookie cutter template for life/productivity 👌
