I know this is an old video but by god I hope you can help me. I followed this video to setup my LED rear reflectors and it works 100% so thanks for that. Now I want to install a diffuser with the brake light but don't know how to wire it so that it lights up when I hit the brakes. Can you help guide with that or point to a link I may be able to check out?

I used some 1" self tap screws i had in my tool box.. there is just a bit of a gap not much did my best but i think its just the mold. You kno ebay stuff lol

Great video. I pretty much copy paste what you did but for some reason the driver side reflector doesn’t light up and the brake lights work so idk what I did wrong. Could use any advice on problem solving
No they are only on when the car has the lights on like normal rear lights and light up when you press the brake .... but you might be able to wire them like DRL's 🤔 but not 100% sure.
Honestly there could be a problem with the lights.. friend of mine got the same lights and they wouldn't stay on only when he would brake so not sure what could be the issue🤔
Brother i still didn’t get the waring conection like how we gonna suppose to conect with old cable? Just tape them with old waring I know what colour with what cable goes
Also, has anyone purchased these recently and how long did they last? Looking into buying another set but would hate to go through all the trouble again for them to only last a few months.
Got these used from a friend, after 2 hours installing, only 3 LEDS on both reflectors lit up instead of all the LED’s. (Saw then working on his car before taking off and putting them on mine) I left them on w/o wiring them up for about 2 weeks so maybe they were exposed to too much water or debris?? Guess I’ll just buy some lol thanks for the vid though
Thank you from the uk!!! My rear left reflector has cracked some dude musta hit my car and drove away I’ve seen these reflectors on eBay for like £45! So I’m gonna get one. So it’s just remove those two caps, with the 10mm and then the bolt each side up on the corner? Then slowly pull the clips away god I hope I don’t break um! I’ll go mad ha ha But thanks !!! Jordan ✌🏻
SimpleSickBuilds just one last question do you think I’d be ok just un Doing the left side corner as it’s only the left side I need to get down or not?
Honestly i think youll have to do both because there is bolts on the bottom off the bumper as well and you might break clips if you only do one side.. just play it safe and do both it will only take you 5min more.
Looking for rear spoiler top cars only got 300 qwid init only as got it of my mate runs really well it's got oil light on saying needs changing so got new oil n filter reddy can the front light be split as one as water in n wanting too get them out too see if l can l nor Google tell you most stuff lol but am old school me 😊 meny thanks Craig

the wire you spliced from and connected the led to, is that from the brake light on the trunk(the left) or the brake light where the L(the right) is?
It was done on the outter LEFT side taillight

Should you disconnect the battery before splicing these wires? And you just strip a mid point off and wrap the reflector wire around it?
Always disconnect battery when cutting up wires

They are not the best quality honestly my boy had the same problem transferring them from his car to his girls and they didn't work after
