  • How to make an easy Baguette at home.
    Here's what you'll need:
    4 cups bread flour or all purpose flour (550g)
    1/2 tablespoon salt (8g)
    2 and 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast (7g)
    1 and 1/2 cup warm water (350ml)
    Baking time may vary depending on your oven specifications. Please adjust accordingly.

    It looks great I bought the pans that you use for baguettes long as they have come with two slots for two baggettes to be baked in the oven but I haven't used it yet but maybe I will now cuz I got a recipe to go with the pan all right take care

    Hi if my oven is too small can make 350g of flour how much water I need to put in thk u

      I make 350ml/500*300= 210ml. I do always like this to revert to my weight of flour.

    I recently bought Angel brand instant dry yeast from Flipkart and when i used it in your no knead bread recipe the dough just doubled in no time and so i baked it without giving it more time to rest ..it gave a very weird smell after baking instead of that peculiar mesmerizing smell... what's wrong with my instant dry yeast...I have always tried your recipes and they turn out perfect but this time i used Angel brand ( after i found in quora about it)... Should i reduce the amount of yeast ?
    I am from India were the temperature is approximately 35 degrees Celsius.
    Please tell me where i am going wrong!!

    If I only want to make one a lot a time, can the other two stay in the refrigerator for a few days - or do I need to freeze them? (my freezer space is very limited)

      I usually make a whole recipe worth of bread, bake them, let them cool, cover each with paper towel, put them in a Ziploc bags and freeze them. Then if I want one, I'll grab one from the freezer, thaw them either on the microwave or just on the table. Sometimes I ate after it got thawed on the microwave but sometimes if I want it crispier I bake them for 5 mins in the oven or even in the air fryer after I thaw them.
