      Yes, you can turn the speakers off on a simple switch on the back of the instrument

    I wouldn't mind a CK49 for a truly portable keyboard.

    anyone can help to about the panning in ck61 how i can change the paning for every sound to Left and Right to take it in sperated channels? Thank you 🙏

    I'm tempted to buy a CK61, but my experience with non AC-powered synths is that they also have worse DA-convertors. So they won't cut through a mix like a pro synth.

    Why no music rest?

    • @InventorZahran
      @InventorZahran 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      The lack of a music rest is such a baffling design decision... Stage keyboardists would find it very useful if it was there!

    Thanks for the review, two questions:
    Plugging a guitar or mic into it, can those sounds also go usb into a computer DAW?
    How are the built in speakers, good enough for a small dorm room?

    How can I send audio to different outputs in split mode? for example, convert bass sound to left channel, piano sound to right channel to stereo?

    So you could record songs with a full band through the keyboard?

    • @InventorZahran
      @InventorZahran 13 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      If your "full band" is the keyboard and only one other instrument/mic, then yes. CK61 has one stereo pair of 1/4" inputs. If you need to record more instruments simultaneously, I'd recommend getting a dedicated audio interface or multitrack recorder with the right number of inputs for your band.

    Hi, do You know the Key Width and Octave Distance of CK61? Thank You.

    • @AmericanMusicalSupply
      @AmericanMusicalSupply  ปีที่แล้ว

      The CK61 has full size keys and features the new 61-key “FSB” or “Future System Basic” action, inspired by the famed “FS” or “Future System” action that was originally developed for Electone organs like the legendary FX-1. In the spirit of the original “FS” action, FSB uses a completely new structure. This action features a heavier initial key resistance and increased key travel for a wider range of expression and stability. This action is great for keyboardists playing organ, synths, strings and more, and provides piano and electric pianos with a dynamic, expressive response. The CK61 also has transpose as well as octave buttons for access to the full range of pitches. -Sam

      @@AmericanMusicalSupplyNo the keys are not full size, octave is a few mm short. But I believe this is common for Yamaha 61 key boards. Even on the YC.

  • @madness8556
    @madness8556 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    I'm hoping that the CK61 doesn't have a keyboard with the same crappy plasticky action as on the MODX 6 and 7.

    • @DeyquanBowens
      @DeyquanBowens ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @madness8556
      @madness8556 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@DeyquanBowens when will Yamaha, a company renowned for building and manufacturing pianos and organs finally realise that they do themselves absolutely no favours by using crappy, cheap arse actions on instruments that are supposed to be directed towards pro and semi pro players?

    • @hvarskloxofficial8969
      @hvarskloxofficial8969 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@madness8556The pro-level stage keyboards by Yamaha are the CP and YC lines, and the CP88 has one of the finest actions I’ve played (wooden, with hammers-makes the board fairly hefty). My guess is the CK line is meant to be more portable and not compete in action quality with the CP and YC lines, although I agree that it’s a big bummer not to have decent action on these keyboards which are still really quite expensive.

    • @donleino
      @donleino 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The action is different than the Modx/psr action . Its not a bad action , the build is plastic , but thats par for the price point. I may do a mod to shallow the key dip a bit.

    : / HOW ABOUT DOING WHAT A REAL MUSICIAN WOULD BE DOING WITH ANY INSTRUMENT? FOCUS ON PLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYING IT! WHAT ARE THE SOUNDS OF THIS INSTRUMENT? ALL YOU DID WAS DO A SALES VIDEO. YEAH THAT IS YOUR "JOB" ( BECAUSE AS A MUSICIAN YOU SOLD OUT FOR A STEADY PAY CHECK AND SOME TH-cam FAME ) REMEMBER WHEN A SYNTH PLAYER HAD THEIR SYNTH, BUT ALL IT DID WAS OFFER SOUNDS FOR THE MUSICIAN TO CREATE THEIR MUSIC WITH? AND WHEN THE SYNTH PLAYER WOULD NEED A DRUMMER TO COLLABORATE WITH? AND THEY BOTH NEEDED A BASS PLAYER? AND THEN ALL OF THEM NEEDED A SINGER AND GUITARIST TO WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE GREAT MUSIC WITH???? ( MUSIC BY THE WAY THAT MOSTLY ALL OF, HAS ENDURED TIME, AND WE ARE STILL LISTENING TO 40-60yrs LATER!!! ALL MADE BY REAL MUSICIANS, USING REAL INSTRUMENTS AND WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE GREAT MUSIC! WAKE UP!
