    As a Numa X Piano GT owner, I loved how it's an audio interface, fully fledged controller with aftertouch, expression pedal assignable inputs, and triple pedal support. It have fantastic piano touch, irrelevant here though, and have decent on board sounds. For the price, it's amazing. What's missing is the organ drawbar this one has.
    But maybe because of the price, there's some janks you may have to deal with:
    1.the screen will deteriorate, have some weird strips appear after turned on for a few hours.
    2.the midi signal of the sustain pedal will send to usb midi out even when the midi is turned off (which can be a nice bug when I want to sustain other midi device with the same pedal )
    3.recording with the 4 input are unable to separate from on board sound; inconvenient for recording simple multitracks. Makes these 4 input less useful than it could.
    4.somehow the sample rate is fixed to 48kHz, can be problematic in 41kHz projects.
    Maybe I'm the only one, but bear this in mind when you purchase a Numa

      I haven’t had any issues so far with mine. My only gripe with it is the flimsy on/off button which is really cheap and doesn’t work sometimes on the first try.

    I had the previous model for about 5 years and was very happy with it. This version has gone up in price a lot but it is still affordable compared to other models and unbeatable in portability so I would buy it again.

    This is another Jack video which did put a huge smile on my face .... great product demo and ...
    Fatar is an Italian based keyboard manufacturer which supplies keys to many companies like Native Instruments = NI, Studiologic, Arturia and ... Me has got one of their MIDI-Master keyboards and i like to mock the keybed as "fatal" because me is a lazy beginner and the keyboard with hammer mech is more on the heavy side feel wise ... really should start practicing harder some day
    The demo'd piano does have the TP/9PIANO semi weighted FATAR model ...
    Me really loves the drawbar feature and the Leslie-FX ... great organ sounds

    Something I love about my Numa Compact 2 (the non-X) is that while it is a full-range keyboard with good piano sounds, it's also really lightweight since it doesn't have weighted keys. Most full piano keyboards will also have weighted keys for the piano people, which makes them harder to transport.
    As far as I can tell, the Numa Compact, X or non-X, the best combination of sound, range, portability, AND affordability. Perfect for someone like me who doesn't own a car and just carries the keyboard walking and commuting.

    I just bought it from Thomann last week. So happy with it.❤ the tiny screen is not an issue at all. The keybed is so good compared to other “semi-weighted” brand keyboards. Lastly, it’s very light that I can carry it everywhere!

    This video is making me glad I didn't spend double or triple on a Nord Electro 6D or the Yamaha YC 73! The piano, Rhodes and organ sounds are very comparable as far as I can tell. Now if I could only try one in person. In SoCal, GC and SamAsh are dismal disappointments these days!

      Anyone who drops close to *Six Thousand* on a keyboard, will undoubtedly defend it till the bitter end. Conversely, anyone who finds a good deal for a little over $500 won't be so defensive, and will undoubtedly have as much joy over the music created, as the money saved. 🤗

    • @merlijnduynstee
      @merlijnduynstee หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@justinbernal1 while I agree, I doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate the better sounding expensive competitirs while at the same time enjoying the upside of this instrument. I remember going to the store many years ago having to choose between the Yamaha P250 (later CP300) and the Roland RD700sx. My friend bought the P250 because it won in the piano departement, while I went for the Rd700sx because it had better layering abilities and much nicer pad/string sounds at the time (at leadt to my ear). I’ve always loved the strengths of both instruments and acknowledged their weaknesses. Even when I bought my Nord Stage 2 later on I didn’t my disapointment about its flaws (program changes would cause a immediate silencing of everything that was playing prior, something the Roland did better in my opinion).
      After going through hours of video comparison and even playing some models of Yamaha, Studiologic and Nord, for me the Nord Piano 5 is my personal favorit, when it comes to the combination of Tone, Action, Features. But seeing this and the CK88 makes me realize that the gap is considerably smaller that the relative price difference.

    • @justinbernal1
      @justinbernal1 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@merlijnduynstee That makes sense, while I'm primarily a bassist and can justify my spending for the best in the bass department, I can't yet do that for keys, and will probably go for the Studiologic Numa. Cheers!

    Why not 61 = perfect travel board. The 88 size is just weird. Everybody has a an 88 hammer at home - but needs a light piano to bring along with the right compromises in terms off weight and bulk....As I pianist I need a portable PRO bring along board. Nobody makes it. Kc61 - weird narrow keys. Nord Electro 6 - action to stiff and no speakers. The one who makes a 61 with great semiweigted keys, speakers and battery option can take all my money :)
