  • @bobrawlins
    @bobrawlins 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    Anderson has a lot to learn. Brilliant performance by Martin. He baited Anderson into following him around the ring early. Early in the fight they got into a pattern where Anderson would follow and throw punches and Martin wouldn't return with much. Once this pattern was set it was the fifth round and Anderson wasn't as fresh as he was in the beginning of the fight, but Martin changed things up a little bit. He would back up allowing for the pattern to set itself all over again but then he would plant and allow Anderson to run himself into the big left hand. It's pretty elementary and old school and gives me a whole new respect for Martin and his team. Fundamentally, Anderson is good and he has worked hard on his craft, but he is still relatively new and is growing. He looks a little lighter in the mid section in this fight and I don't know if that is because he is training to lighten up or because Martin is so much bigger but this is a good sign, because it will allow him to bend at the waist more fluidly and will eat up less energy. I like Anderson and these are the type of tests he needs learn from if he wants to win the title. Still don't think he has the type of power of a Lennox Lewis, Vlad, or Deontay Wilder but he has good power and he can deliver the power with short compact punches which actually makes him more dangerous but he needs to get better at controlling distance and angles, because in this fight by the fifth round he was standing right in front of Martin following Martin around and allowing Martin to dictate the distance and when they would engage in action.

    • @3231bsln
      @3231bsln 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree. He's still got a lot to learn. Versus, his first former champ, Anderson's showing he's maybe more of a Bowe level puncher. His shots and damage come from the speed of delivery. That's uncommon as a hwy, especially in the modern era. Fans have been "spoiled" with 3 generations of concussive punchers in a row as champion.

    Jared has a lot of potential but he needs to stay far far far away from top level heavyweights. Keep building your experience in your record, but Deontay Wilder, Usyk and Tyson Fury would dismantle him. Let your guys finish their rein and retire. Look to be the best of the next generation. Because even Ruiz and AJ would stop himn right now.

    Jared Anderson got a proper chin on him. He took some big shots and came through it winning this fight very easily from what I saw. I think u could've given maybe 2 rounds to Charles if u were to be nice about it. Jared is a proper fighter. U sw when he got hurt a couple times where he pulled Matrin down and leaned on him. Everybody is doing this now. Fury started doing it to Wilder to drain him. It's always been in boxing but Fury took it to a whole new level of leaning on guys..
    Jared needs t keep fighting these types of fights now and making them interesting. We saw him get hit more than ever before by a big puncher from what his record says about him.
    Martin should held his ground more but Anderson didn't really move his hedand I cannot recall a point in this fight where he actually landd shots and then spun out of the way when Martin attacked him back or even when Martin innitiated the attack.
    i HOPE HE UPS HIS GAME NOW BCOS THERE'S LEVELS TO THIS SPORT AND IF he'd fought a better opponent tonight we may have been looking at Anderson getting beat up. He took some right heavy shots and at the end he was badly hurt. U could see it. That's a real worry but the mat5chmakers will pick abig bum next time out.. U know that's going to happen.. LMAO.. tHANKS FOR THR VIDEOS MY BRO.
    That was a good fight tbf to both guys. Martin surprised me in this fight. He got KO'd by a 75 yr old man in ORTIZ in his last fight new Year 2022? He hadn't fought in a long time. I'n guessing but wasn't that his last big fight?

    Not expecting perfection from a 20 yr old but this was not a good fight for Anderson. He is NO WHERE close to compete with elite competition. Ortiz would knock his ass out, AR would knock his ass out. He would wake up in heaven with Wilder 😮 he looked sloppy with moments where he looked decent but not great. I don’t see him being a household name. He is going to run into a bull sooner rather than later 🗑️ 🚮
