Hello from the Houston Space Center area! Thank you for making your nice video. I have to do this to my 1974 Suzuki TM 400 gas tank. I really like your property and land its so nice and you dont have far to to go to Lexington dam or lake Vasona!! take love your videos.
It’s funny having to spread eagle to make a turn. Really considering bar risers or a set of taller bars . 110’s are so much fun, one of my fav toys to ride!! I need a little trailer so I can use it to get the garbages in the campground
I’m watching this so I can clean the rusty tank on my 82 Honda 110:-) I use a short piece of fuel hose to loop the two petcocks together. Sweet tumbler lol!
I have one that isn't rusty rusty but it has service rust, but it has a tank liner that's bad will this work for that? Or do I have to break the liner up?
When you you put the baking soda in the tank do you mix it with water? If so how long do you leave it in, then right after that can you fill it up with gas? Thanks
@@birchcreekbandits8874 depends how it looks, a lot of times you can just clean them. At this point a lot of these parts are super old and the rubber will tend to leak after you’ve taken it apart so if you have the budget it’s always good to just replace a lot of that stuff.
Was the bad stuff in the gas tank the reason for any issues? I’ve been dealing with a hard time starting and stalling on my minibike and taken care of everything else

Thank you for the video Freddie Mercury ! Cheers!
good job & great tumbler idea which you could do with other things.
Nice shirt. I love the classic rock.
Love the tank shaker
What a great video!
Found it, thank you sir!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome video. Does this procedure work on old plastic tanks? Thanks so much.
You shouldn’t have any rust in your plastic tank but it definitely works if you have cracks or leaks. 🏁
@@MasonGeorgeMotorcycles I have a “gunk” problem from decades of sitting. Your power washer idea should do the trick.
Can you do this with a tank that had a liner that is falling apart?
You need to remove the old liner
Thanks
This help lots
When I put the baking soda in, do I wash it out with water or put gas in with the baking soda?

If it’s not that bad you might get away without relining it.. I would try cleaning it first and see how it goes.
After cleaning the baking soda out of it with water how do you get the water out?
An air hose works great, sometimes I also take the torch and stick it inside the tank to burn off any other extra water.
What kind of vinegar is best to use? Ive seen white And also apple cider vinegar?
Whatever has the highest rating of acid. I normally use the white vinegar from Costco.

Rinse the baking soda out with the distilled water then put gas in it🏁
@@MasonGeorgeMotorcycles thanks, would you replace the petcock and filter or just leave the original one in there?

How much baking soda do you use?
Half a box at least
@@MasonGeorgeMotorcycles ok thanks!

Bruh yup! You need to have good fuel if you want an engine to run good
👍👍
Does it have to be distilled water? Can I use water from the hose
Distilled water is better but if you don't have it go super heavy on the baking soda

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.
Ok so why did you have baking soda
The baking soda neutralizes the acid in the vinegar.
Douche'd out 😂😂😂😂
