A Hybrid Video Travel Tripod | Tilta VT05 Tripod Review

- I personally don’t look at video tripods so much but the way that the Tilta VT05 Carbon Fiber Travel Video tripod was made seems like it was a good exception. This travel tripod was designed ideally for video and was given a fluid head however looking at it makes it also very much usable for photos especially since the panning arm can be removed. This is one of those reviews that I don’t really have anything bad to say. Then again, I’d want to see what Tilta would do on a photo version of this.

Great video!
Grabe ang ganda neto!!!
Bagay sayo! ;)
@@NiccoValenzuelaPH gusto ko sana sir kaya lang parang malaki pa sya para sa side pocket ng nomatic bag no? Yung peak design kasi sakto lang slim pero nabibigatan pa din ako hehe
@miguelberns yung head nagpapalaki eh. Pwede sya ilagay mo yung head sa loob ng bag. Haha
@@NiccoValenzuelaPH hahahaha pero grabe ang built quality
@miguelberns hiramin mo muna? Hahaha
Your video really helps to purchase it! Thank you !
*correction. The legs are 1.4Kg, with the head it weighs 2Kg total
Personally, I don't consider a 23 inch tripod to be travel friendly. Try the 14.4 inch (collapsed) Gitzo 1555T - now that's a travel tripod.
Can you replace the video head with a standard ball head ?
I got one too. Paid full price. For me, very disappointed. The legs are the best feature. The head is too heavy. The leveling ball will separate from the tripod if you don't have the set screw fully engaged. The center post, has some rough carbon fiber, so it doesn't go up and down slickly. There are some good features, sure, but its not worth the money given what is also on the market. Love the color. Don't think I will continue to use it. Its just doesn't "excite" or have any innovative features. For the price/performance, I think I wouldn't not have bought this. Better options from iFootage or Leofoto.
I agree about the center column being rough. I agree about the head being heavy but I know they need to be heavy to also be stable with a certain payload. But yes, it might not be the right one for you. I personally like it amidst that just because I’ve seen so many flimsy stuff that should not even make it to the market. But of course I respect your opinion. Cheers! :)
