@@stealthkudasaii9286 So I've finally built my PC and have gone with 32gb ram because the 64gb ram went out of stock. My plan was to get 64gb and upgrade the GPU in like a year.
Best tutorial I’m actually looking into buying parts to build the PC and found this gem! Actually end up watching the whole video without any parts and feel pretty confident about building the PC. I work in maintenance and use laptop’s in a daily basis and do some slight modifications like ram and ssd etc… but always felt like a bit nervous about building my own PC but with a detail video like this I definitely will try it! Thanks.
Dude I've watched this like a dozen times talking myself into biting the bullet and building my very first pc. This is like my 13th time watching but I am currently doing the final steps to kissing consoles goodbye. I went with this: Hyte y60, Motherboard Asus B650-E, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090, G Skill Flare X5 series 32GB, Kingston 4tb, Lian Li GA ll LCD 360 cooler, and a Corsair RM1000e power supply. Went through fun times. Went through stressful times. Wrapping up though I'm decently proud I think I did a pretty good job especially with the wire routing.
@phantomgaming31410 while at micrcenter in Indianapolis, and I have to say top notch sales associates going above and beyond to a noob like me, as I was telling them which products I was looking at and it was my first time they were like go big or go home respect lol. What I wound up with literally tears through games. I don't have the lag I was used to while blaming my internet which wasn't to blame. I also won't have to upgrade for quite sometime which is why I went with what I did. Gone are the days of needing the new consoles and I did play Xbox and ps. Honestly well worth the time, energy and money I invested in it. Gamers game and this gives me the opportunity to enjoy games I want to play on my terms and with great quality. The best investment I've ever made when it comes to gaming.
I have been building PCs for the last 20 years, just enough changes between my builds to merit a vid like this, and you sir, made it perfectly. Especially love the time stamps.
Cable management and front panel io cable installation are notoriously the worst parts of building a PC... Especially if you don't have the front io panel as a one piece unit. God I hate that...

Best build guide I’ve seen by miles!!
Hi bro did u build a am5?
Techsource pc build guide > linus tech tip pc guide
heck yea, though id argue linus is more complicated and thats why techsource is better
Built my new PC for the first time last weekend and this video helped me a ton! Thank you!
The timing on this is crazy. I'm doing my first PC build in about a month!
What is your budget? What parts did you pick?
@@MrAnimescrazy About $1000 budget - 12700k, 64GB DDR5 and RTX 3060 12GB
@@UnderCtrl you really dont need 64gb ddr5 with a 3060 12gb
@@stealthkudasaii9286 So I've finally built my PC and have gone with 32gb ram because the 64gb ram went out of stock. My plan was to get 64gb and upgrade the GPU in like a year.
@@UnderCtrl Do you know how relevant ryzen 5700x will be? Im planning to pair it with an rtx 3060, or maybe my cpu is too powerful
Watching this video in advance (gonna watch when im buidling too), Im building my first PC this friday, i cant wait.
I have been super excited to watch all of your build videos. Keep up the great work ED.
“these cables go in both ways just like my friend harry” 😂
Always look forward to your vids Ed. Your other pc build guide is what got me through my first build!
Just finished building the first pc with my son wanted to thank you and show appreciation
God bless you always
Let's goooo updated version!! This is going to be very useful when I build my PC soon.
I just watched this whole video without the intention to build a computer.
Yeah there is no any other tutorial video beats this one in my opinion . A truely legendary video.
Funfact, i’m watching this video not because i don’t know how to build a pc but because i don’t know what to watch anymore😂
This is some incredible timing for a refresh because I'm building my pc In a month ❤
Lets goooo
U buying a kit or getting every component individually??
@@vaishnavsnair4517 I'm getting every components individually and gonna be building my first ever PC
I'm pumped 🤌
Absolutely wonderful guide, only had a few minor issues while building. Thank a lot man!!
who else fully watched this video without a PC?
Me lol
I successfully built my first PC with no issues using your video! Thanks for the great content!
15:12 "gently slide it in, just like the weekend nights" well said 👍
12:52 "Using your pleasure fingers" 🤣
What does that mean?????
@@Syher_ it means sex
you'll figure it out someday dw @@Syher_
I found these comments off putting 🤷
bro idk why am watching this even tho i aint building nothing 💀
Best tutorial I’m actually looking into buying parts to build the PC and found this gem! Actually end up watching the whole video without any parts and feel pretty confident about building the PC. I work in maintenance and use laptop’s in a daily basis and do some slight modifications like ram and ssd etc… but always felt like a bit nervous about building my own PC but with a detail video like this I definitely will try it! Thanks.
Who else watched this but knows damn well they ain’t gonna build anything😂
@@InsaneFlaGATORS Good for you man, hopefully one day I can afford to buy a chassis🤣🤣
@@InsaneFlaGATORS Nice, I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!
Once i build my pc, I'll forget everything.😂
who else pressed the rewind button more than a 100 times
I have been building PCs for the last 20 years, just enough changes between my builds to merit a vid like this, and you sir, made it perfectly. Especially love the time stamps.
1:42:49 have anyone noticed him dancing in the monitor reflection
Yea i saw ahahah
That’s crazy bruh
I fell asleep while watching this
Yes... Indeed. BREAD👍🏻
Finished my first build. Thank you for the help!
the cables part sucks 😭
It is annoying I agree.
@@TechSource yep 😭
Ik😭
Cable management and front panel io cable installation are notoriously the worst parts of building a PC... Especially if you don't have the front io panel as a one piece unit. God I hate that...
Build me one 😢😢
Just built my first PC at 14 yrs old first try thanks to you. I would watch this video everyday for 3 weeks and memorized almost everything. I know so so much about computers I never thought I would. So happy with my new build, thank you man! ❤

I'm a computer engr and building PCs since early 90s... This video is simply top notch. No wasted words.. clear and concise instructions and many timely placed pro tips. And the way the info was presented is simply very professional.
I just built my first PC ever using your guide. Super helpful as a beginner and I had to show my thanks. Your visual guidance really helped calm my nerves when it comes to building with the expensive hardware!
Step by step... Thanks for walking (crawling) me through it! Well done! Thank you 🎉
thank you so much for this video. still had a lot of headaches but this helps a lot.
My AIO was blocking my PSU cables from going into the CPU slot on the motherboard, that was one of many things that gave me issues
Thanks for helping me though my first PC build, nothing went wrong and now my PC works great
Nice. I built my first pc 5 years ago. I'll be building my second one later this week. Just browsing various YT videos to make sure I don't forget anything. This is by far the easiest in depth guide to follow, without all the unnecessary bloated info dump. I respect a lot of the other YT creators, but for me, this guide is the best one yet.
I cannot honestly thank you enough and show you enough gratitude as you deserve. You are such a good person. Your smile displays your wholeheartedly nature. You are able to explain so well not missing a single point. Thus, making your tutorial videos to be most comprehensive and precise. Love you brother. Always stay like this. I know you such content requires enormous amount of hardwork and efforts. And the sheer determination you have to benefit your audience, displays the passion you have to teach and lead others. Indeed, you are the best teacher in TH-cam. No competition !😊😉
Haha I wrote so much because I felt it and had to convey as much as I could as a fan of yours, from my heart 😜🤪

I haven't built a PC in almost 10 years. Just built a new one and this guide helped soooo much. Booted on first power on. Thank you!
Just watched this whole video. Building my first pc this weekend, thanks for the tutorial!
You video helped me to build my very first gaming PC from assembling the components, to the cables, up to installation of the operating system and fixing bios. Thank you so much!
Before ur previous pc build I must have watched more than 100 full pc builds and nothing came close to yours, you just cover all possibilities and older/newer parts/ways. This one is great as well
I just built my new PC and your guide was outstanding, thank you so much. I'm still impressed by how thorough it is.
Excited for my first ever PC, gonna use this video for reference thanks!
I used your 2018 guide to build my first pc in 2022. But now i will be using this guide for my next system, the work you put into this was amazing and i learned alot despite already knowing how to build a pc so thank you man!
Thank you so much for this video, i followed step by step and i just finished my first pc build ever and it looks amazing and better than i had expected
I just finished bulding mine yesterday, thank you so much for the in depth step by step guide. Cheers
The best PC build in TH-cam! I really appreciate for all your hard work and effort. You are an angel and amongst the elite. For you, I was able to save a lot of money, and now have full control over my gaming PC which I can upgrade as I like in future. I don't need to buy whole new system but just plug out and plug in different components involved in the whole PC configuration.
Thankyou so much! This helped me finish my first ever PC Build couldn't of done it without this!
Definitely using this for when I build my pc in a couple of weeks very detailed, thankfully I found your updated version because even your vid from 3 years ago is still up to date and usable with a little extras here n their
