Lao Li is a go getter. What a brilliant attitude to have. Zeng well done. I applaud Phillys husband for being the unseen support in the background. Well done to all. Lao Li has learnt the basic Swahilli...and is good to be around. He exudes positivity. Phillys is always happy but also shows appropriate emotion when things are not going well. By this The childen have learnt to read the social environment when mums not well or is happy. The children are lucky to have such incredible social wealth around them. I'd have this any day over material wealth.

The reason Felista's family is so disciplined is because of the occasional pop with a switch, hand or something. He will never do it again. It will also deter other children from doing it. She didn't kill him. She reprimanded him. That's probably why that entire village is calm and shows respect for each other...they got a whack or 2 when they were young. He will survive and think twice before getting into mischief the next time. This is the way I came up. I respected my parents until the day they died. Never gave them problems and reared my children the same way.

When all is said and done , the spirit of China will always be remembered when all goes back to China. They will be missed I'm sure , but at the same time , I'm sure they will be glad to get back home .

Most of them can and they are learning it is just a matter of time if they continue to use them they will master it
Fork is more efficient. Eating with the chopsticks make you have to slurp your food, which is considered as bad manners in the west.
@@eponymous2684 Chopsticks are way more efficient than forks if you know how to use them. By the way, Africa and China are not part of the west. Western manners are practiced in the west, and do not apply everywhere in the world. please respect other cultures.

I think Fel's husband helped a lot in building stuff like the stove, the shower stall, etc. He works in construction in China so I would think he's the expert in these kinds of stuff. But he's a very humble man who prefers not one shine on camera.

Duo Duo & Fe'er has receive love, care and attention conversing with both of them by the adult around them. Eventhough Fe'er not talking yet but she understand and responded well. Their mind will understand & absorb more on what's going on in their life.
Laoli is multi talented..❤ Beanie is picking up both English ("let's go!") ..and Swahili ("kuchapa!!!) He's a bright child.. Xiao Zheng also has exceptional language skills he says "shilingi ngapi?" And "sawa! lets go " so smoothly ..he is very expressive in making the food he is preparing smell scrumptious to ones imagination 😅

For sure she will be more amaze, when she see Duo Duo grandpa in China late 80 years old still being creative to make seesaw, swing, chair etc for his grandchildren in China. He also help daughter-in-law Felista in the farm work and building shelters for her poultry farm. A loving grandpa and father-in-law to be able to exert his energy he had for them. I salute him.

They didn’t drive them from poverty, they just didn’t have the amenities to make their life comfortable. Her in-law, husband and friend just helped them with making things easier and accessible. The show “Daughter in Law in China” receives contributions for their videos. That’s where some or most of the funds are coming from.
