women are usually better at reading nonverbal communication is something i learned in a psychology class i’m taking so that’s why i think some women expect men to read their minds because they feel they’d be able to read their own mind if roles were reversed. This is just a guess though.

I love Josh’s take on weight and body image because it’s so practical and appropriate. Even in the “girls ask guys” video, his response to the “does weight matter” question was a simple, “it depends on where it’s placed.”
Same in this video, instead of focusing on weight, pay more attention to the *shape*. 180 on a 5’10 frame and 180 on a 5’3 frame will look like night and day.

Women are so deeply influenced by intentionality. She wants you to read her mind because she can usually read yours. She drops enough clues through out there relationship for you to piece together the way she pieces together your clues.

I agree that the are wolves in sheep's clothing in church, but I'd rather find someone in church rather than a club.
@@anissa2361 I mean naturally you need to weigh your odds. The likelihood of finding a good man in the club as opposed to the church is obviously lower. But it's safer to not have expectations of any place at all that way any place and anytime is an opportunity to meet a gem.
Tbh church men are kind of scary most of the time 😬. My agnostic bf is more "godly" than 90% of folks I know from church and he doesn't even know it!

When Isi said “170! That’s 30 pounds away from 200!” It hit home sooo hard because I’ve found myself looking at the scale and saying the same thing. “160! That’s 40 pounds away from 200!” And then losing weight and being like “150, that’s 10 pounds away from 160!” Honestly, I dont remember a time in my life where I’ve not wanted to weigh less than I did. (Im 15 years old btw so I guess it cant be THAT long) Even though most would consider my body to be pretty good! (I play volleyball so you know I got them thick thighs🤪) Still, even looking back at old photos when I was like 7 or 8, I cant help but feel angry/ embarrassed that I ever felt beautiful at anytime while I looked like that, which is sooooo messed up and a part of me still feels like losing 20 pounds would FINALLY make me pretty but hey I’m working on it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Women who have been abused by either a sibling or a parent try to recreate that ideal of love in a partner. (Subconsciously). They’ve been trained to respond and react to that type of love, so they’ll be more attracted to “bad” people.

I completely agree with you Isi because if you’ve been around that person consistently and for a long time you would know what you did was wrong. The same thing applies with our female friends, when they do something wrong they know exactly what it is, so we set that same expectation for men thinking it is crystal clear but apparently men are oblivious and don’t notice and it makes us upset because it feels like you don’t know us or paid attention to us
