I have just started collecting a handful of books that I read in junior High and High School! It's funny the memories we have of these old books that just stick with us all these years later & I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience! I love the concept of putting a poem in your journal each day. Tea light candles are the best!! Repurposing an old item for something you need now is the best feeling! 😊
Ahh, thank you, Shanna, for watching and commenting! Oh, yes, revisiting old favorites is wonderful, but you're right that there's something special to those books from our growing up years. It would be fun to hear what some of those books are of yours! I had half a quote rattling around in my head, and I had to look it up. It's from You've Got Mail, and Meg Ryan's character Kathleen Kelly says, "When you read a book as a child, it becomes a part of your identity in a way that no other reading in your whole life does." :) The poem in the journal is fun, because it helps to start with something that isn't about being good or not, it's for its own sake. Yes, tea lights are wonderful!! Yeah, there's something to that repurposing, and part of it is that sense I "invented" something, if that makes any sense. :) Happy Holidays, Shanna, and thank you for being so encouraging and friendly!!!! :)
@TarotwithMims I adore Meg Ryan. You've Got Mail was one that I didn't want to like but I actually loved. When Harry met Sally is an all-time favorite as well! A couple of the books that I have recently picked up are a Girl of the Limberlost and The Witch of Blackbird Pond. I feel like there might be a couple others but I can't think of what they are right now. I'm glad to be here! And Happy holidays to you as well! ☺️
@@sincerelyshannadee Ooh, it's always fun to hear what people loved to read in their younger days! Yes, When Harry Met Sally is a favorite, but I enjoy You've Got Mail as well, maybe because of a long-held fantasy of wanting to own and run a bookstore. :-)
