  • An in-depth look at HOW TO SELECT GOATS BREED CHARACTERISTICS of goats for new farmers. We want to try and avoid some simple mistakes that beginners will make when choosing the right animal for their farm. We don't want to re-invent the wheel in this selection process.
WE DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR TRIAL AND ERRORS.

Most farmer also starts off buying a goat that was not on rope and put it on rope. What are the pros and cons of that transition.

Doesn't the native goats takes a very long time to reach maturity compare to Boer and other breeds?

No, they mature quicker ,breed faster an usually have more kids. But, they are smaller in size and very tough
