My son been growing his hair out n he keeps thinking it's too short 2 braid(which it's not) but the edge in bk is) I can probably use this technique at the bk. I think u should of blinged it out alive more ,give her that true queen effect! Otherwise it's beautiful!

Yes you can use this to try ease the pain on her scalp. If you do not grab too much hair, it should not be painful at all and yet the hairstyle stays longer than cornrows.

Thank you. Yes I did manage to get her to see an optometrist and she got her glasses. She also managed to get a job which is great because now she can see better. We were almost late with her though but she managed to get the last lens to make her vision better. Not corrected but way better.
I need to keep practicing with the thread. I tried but the hair doesn't seem to tuck with the thread and just stands up on the head. I'll eventually get it

You can but use 3 to 4 strands.
