No, its way too late now :( Ironically this song came out in 1995 the year before John fucking Howard became PM and the LNP set us on a 25yr path to adopt all the worst parts of American neoliberalism
Thing is, if that song came out today, the internet would be filled with youtubers, pundits and pollies fighting about how "Woke TM" it is, and we'd completely ignore what the message it's trying to say. So basically Australia HAS become America.
Good. Australia never had/has any culture. And since they’re anglo, it was inevitable. Even their celebrities move to America. What a nothingburger country

Loved this song back in the day and (still) totally agree with the sentiment and ethos (to use a wanky word) of the song but absolutely can NOT believe how American this video looks in retrospect. Basically attempted Chilli Peppers but came up Ugly Kid Joe. Shame that Australia didn't listen and is now an embarrassing, nanny state...
This song was high impact when I saw it on Rage once - the title so often comes to mind - I only watch the video once every few years. Wanted to say - the video has look and feel influences by Hollywood etc, yes, but is not just that - I connect the sound with Australian jazz pre-Peppers, and I connect the words with political art/performance, not just Peppers. So WELL DONE to all involved :-)
