In order to be able to shoot a film like this, I would first have to clean like a madman. On the other hand, you will probably also have made your preparations, since everything looks more like at a prefabricated house exhibition. Your furnishing style strikes me as very tasteful and relatively sober, not as playful as I might have suspected. I like it.

I really like the idea of the sliding doors covering the storage space when being open - neat design feature. Also the coloured column adds more of a integrated part of design feeling than a basic white one would have.
How many kids bedrooms in Germany have Mousse wallpapers, though? And how many Canadian kids don't have any hockey sticks laying around? 😉😁
So we've learned that you now have two of those cleaning robots. That leaves me wondering though what you're going to do about your stairwell? One of those for each step for they can be trained not to fall off at a change of level? Your electricity bill will be astronomical I presume...🤣🤣🤣.
And for your comment on "magic" I will restrain myself from responding to that other than: yeah, remember the state you're currently in? 😜😁😁
Thank you for showing us your new home and all the best for a happy future with your family 👍💛

Haha surprisingly, we are good at saving on energy costs elsewhere 😂✊ thankfully!
I’m glad you also like the column and sliding doors! 🥰 I’m also super happy with them!
Currently working on the living room/kitchen level now! Can’t wait to share!

Call me crazy but I prefer a laundry room on the main level. I've had both and I just like it like this. I fold laundry there anyway to keep an eye on my kids, and I can put it outside to dry in the backyard when the weather is is enough without having to take it down the stairs all wet and heavy, and I can run a washer when the kids are sleeping without worrying about the noise

      Better than the cellar! 🤣😝
It’s also common in Canada to have it on the main floor too. Thankfully ours is stashed away in a closet which is surprisingly really quiet, so we tend to do all our laundry while we are sleeping at night. 🙃
I use the balcony to dry some of our clothes as we get more sun there than the backyard, otherwise I’d definitely have considered main floor like you too! 🙃

Nice Maisonnette flat. Will you keep the lower floor in that open "lofty" style? 2 things about upper floor. Think the windows in kid's and Yt-room are lower. And before the "no magic or not only in this room" room (lost in translation 🤷🤣), there's only tar paper? Not allowed to step on or use chairs, right?
And there's less maple stuff, than i expected. Where's your saws and axes room, no Mounty uniform and no syrup dispenser. 🤔🤣🤣
Maybe change the lower pillar to some kind of tree? Brownish bark, but lighter and more interesting: white and black birch imitation. Parts of the treetop: real plants? And syrup tap, functional, of course. 🤣☮️ (no front)
I'm looking forward to seeing the lower floor finished. Ciao

5:00 That looks like in a motel. Where they serve the continental breakfast. Ready to let rooms? And that window near the ceiling serves the same purpose as those fan windows over entrance doors very common in the US. Saves electricity.

So beautiful! So spacious! Can’t wait to see how you will re do the kitchen! Will you be doing a small guest bedroom in the first floor/unit? I had never seen a bathroom without a toilet. Is it a German thing?

I once bought an irobot cleaner. I was not impressed. It chew on my rugs and made a mess. The plastic housing loaded up on static electricity. Every time it hit the curtains dust was put on them. And when I had to empty the dust bin it was a messy business with no dustbag and throwing the dust out. Was that in the 30s of last century? So I had to clean that afterwards and the robot itself too. It also was not able to take up very fine fibers (from a rug that I took up for cleaning) from a hardwood floor. The main power that thing had was the rotary motion of the brush. The suction was simply only an add-onn it seemed. And that also scraped off a lot of fibers from my long shag rugs. It showed clearly. In the dustbin was a layer of rug fibers and a layer of dust. About 50/50. And any fringes on rugs were in constant danger to be torn out. The robot was also very dumb. Sometimes it made a straight run only to stop in the middle of it and turn sideways. No obstacle or anything in the way, just randomly. The pattern it used was also pretty annoying. In the end, I retired it when the brush coupling broke (got it from Amazon). No more nerve wracking noise and strange behavior. No more securing the rugs and no more half finished business and dirty hands. In conclusion: to be avoided for the price. YMMV.

13:19 My first thought was that the contraption was there to train the robot dust sucker not to fall down the stairs and to get it some exercise to climb the incline? ;-)

If you are not fet up running up and down on that stairs this house appartment will be awaseme and specious for a big family. I like the wadrobes. Please keep the shower downstairs as well because it is good to have 2 toilets and 2 showers as well 2 vanitys. I have only one and when i had to fix the bathroom I had to go to the gym to take a shower for 1 month.😆😆😆

Jenna, what is the point of an only half door in the showers here? I'm from us and we either have fully closed glad doors or short curtain. I'm still not used to these half doors as the water gets everywhere

I word of advice, which by the way has nothing to do with discrimination. And base my opinion on a person by their actions. Be very cautious with regards to who will be your neighbors. I am currently living near Indian computer engineering students. Ever since they moved in I have been having issues with my Wifi and computer network being hacked. Besides that, they like to save money and so they will fit about 4 people in a one bedroom apartment. Which causes excessive noise at all hours. Additionally they like having phone conversations outside which usually tends to be in front of other tenants apartments which can cause a disturbance. When they use the laundry room they leave the clothes in the machines over night and do not clean up after themselves once they are done. Additionally, They are not very clean in general. Once a cat must have taken a dump near their front door and they never cleaned it up. This attacted flies in my home. It was a mess.

i like your green square by the mirror, rooms full of white walls are boring or it does look like a hospital
