Lovely couple and beautiful apartment. Thank you for the tour! I really appreciate when you and your guests speak very slowly and describe everything. It might seem simple to them, but when I'm trying to learn now it's very helpful. Danke!
Came here to say exactly the same thing. Not only I was surprised by Helge being I guy (so far I had only heard the name Helga, which I always presumed to be female), but also by how cute he is 😍🤣
ist a gentrified altbau, bought by daddies money for his white rich kids and probably pushing out lower class peoples (looks a lot like bergmannkiez). everything you see on easy german portrays the richer, gentrified, white parts of berlin. i guess it fits into their program, but it doesnt reflect berlin reality at all.
@@giovannischulze1253: Of course it doesn't reflect the reality of Berlin for *all* people, but it does reflect the reality of Berlin for *some* people. If you take issue with the venues selected for their series, then kindly send them an email with suggestions. I've known Cari and Janusz since before Easy German even began; both are very kind and generous people who would be horrified at your characterization of the series (and really their character personally).
Interesting comment's section. And on the other hand we have a German TV channels or TH-cam channel where they represent other countries, especially Balkan and Eastern European as very poor with appartments or houses that look much of a slum.
Technically, from my experience he said the truth. Yes the person's in the video are quite nice people. But it's common now in Berlin that the parents should sign the contract to rent an apartment. Many Berliners, working class people etc. can't pay their rent anymore due gentrification and the rarity of apartments. Young students even sleep in their cars. Investors are constantly buying whole houses and envict old tenants. There are 200+ applications on one apartment.( I was moving out and searching for a new tenant myself, I was completely overwhelmed by the interest and nearly 500 messages after a week.) So yes, the landlords are only picking the ones, with the highest income ( of their parents ) and raising the rent. There is even a Formular for the application, where you should bring a copy of the bank balance from you, your partner and your parents. Even I picked a homeless, debt free couple as new tenants for the selection, where both earning good ( they still lived in their car, because they can't find anything in time) - my landlord decided for a young girl /student from abroad with no job,but a rich mom - who signed the contract in the end. :/ I feel still sorry for the couple. Yes, ,you are right guys - still no reason to be racist! The guy with his comment seems to be frustrated over the situation and gentrification which is quite hard for people in other countries too
I really liked this episode!! Slow, comprehensible speech, and there was no need to replay certain parts. A lot of new vocabulary words. Also, thanks for the cartoony-style speech you guys talk in, it helps!
Thank you so much! I learned German by my self and this episode i can understand all of the conversations, clear and slow, I love easy German ,thank you guys!
Lovely apartment. Tidy, roomy and clean. I really liked the kitchen, especially the wine rack. I know that this is rather private but I wish you'd shown the bedrooms too. I hear from the comments that Frederika is Swedish. She's cute speaking German.
Easy German really made the learners to learn easy and with fun. First time, I am seeing a different video, super creative and every word was crystal clear. Wow. Amazing. Thumbs up to the team. This episode was so soothing to watch as it shows the authentic livings of Germans. Great! Luv it! Thank you!
Welcome Carina, you and your team put lots of hard work and very dedicated. All your videos are superb but this episode is so special. Wishing you all the best. Greetings from Malaysia. 💓 Love Anna
As a breton native I discovered at10 the neighbouring island of Jersey and at the age of 37 the other main island in the Bay of St Malo, Guernsey,... Which by the way belonged to France. Until 1204... And what did I learn here ? Simply that when you have not a vast Space to live in, you can also be happy in a small house or flat! And if you observe stars from your housing, it becomes quasi infinite...!
Thank you for speaking slow. Germans usually speak so fast I can not understand anything. And I have the same problem with french people. (I'm Mexican by the way).
Amazing video! Rich in vocabulary. "Gott sei dank" "Kommt gern rein."

1. Helge looks like a German Idubbbz 2. In the first two minutes there were like four separable verbs and I had to go look each of them up. I'm so rusty...
Isn't Frederika so lovely? I noticed she isn't German and I think you spotted that she's from Sweden. Sorry for answering in English. I can understand what you said in German but can only answer in English.
Sehr interessant!
I lived in Berlin in 2010. It was quite affordable back then. We knew several families with places as nice as this one, so chic and spacious. I cannot imagine how much such an apartment costs nowadays. Berlin is ridiculously expensive and I would never live there again due to overpricing. Not worth it!!!!!

Is there any actual German food? I mean, potatoes are from South America and mustard from Asia (if I am not mistaken). Food with ingredients native to Northern Europe.
@@melaniaideepreziose1056 I lived in France for 3 years so that's where I was first introduced to Nutella, but in truth I've rarely eaten it though I do like it. Have a good day. Sure is a nice apartment. Like someone else said, man, if that's typical......
Victor Brown If you change your mind you can still try to study Italian! I studied German, English and French at the university but the first one I admit is really hard. I live in an Italian island where the language (Sardinian, it’s a language not a dialect as many people could think) is similar to Spanish in some ways. So it’s easy for me to understand and even try to speak Spanish without having to study it. Now I would love to study a bit of Chinese or Russian.. but it will be an impossible mission. I ll come to Berlin for Master degree too but I didnt find a cheap room for rent ,Does someone have any Idea about it ?
4:10 "Zu Tortellini". Oh, santo cielo...
Yeah that one threw me. Ich mag Senf ... mit Würste, mit Schincken ... but on Tortellini? Mamma mia...
😭... und Nutella ist nicht typisch con Deutschland.. alle leckere Lebensmittel kommen aus Italien!
Und jetzt denkt ihr, alle Deutschen essen Senf zu Tortellini! Oh my gosh!
ich kack ab ej 😂 wer is denn senf zu tortellini lost
