Today, continuing from the previous week, I will share about basic seasonings in Japan. In Japan, basic seasonings are represented by SA, SHI, SU, SE, and SO. If you know this, you will not be confused about how to use them, and I think it is important to know what real seasonings look like first. Of course, we use simple seasonings and dashi packets in our home. However, because we know the real thing, we are able to use them according to our TPO.
