So many people are criticizing this performance, saying that Steve Styles was off on the piano but obviously they don’t understand what the tiny desk concerts are.
I think sometimes she was nervous about the high notes, but I also think she‘s at the top of her game right now and reeeaally knows her voice!! So she knows where she can go live...

Steve doesn't look like Scooter lol he's with Demi since 2012 hahaha They work very very well together. He also plays the guitar and the bass when he needs to. Also, Demi makes odd choices to open and close concerts since... Ever. I still remember she closing some of her concerts from 2014-2016 with Give Your Heart a Break, a song from 2012

actually I do think she goes for the note like she's going to nail it but, because there have been times when she's just about to hit it and her voice cracks and there's usually no time for her to prevent it and hit some other note instead... which I think that if she anticipated she could sense when the note won't come out and she could dodge it
