    My walking foot started squeaking again after the thorough oiling following your instructions but looked up the TH-cam tutorial again and saw this one on the way and tried it. The Burt's Bees did the trick. Thanks so much.

    Use a qtip to it the chap stick on the inside smoothly.

    As a walking foot rookie, I’m curious why you used the walking foot to make curtains.

      Don't know their particular situation, but curtains are often made from flimsy, slippery fabric and a walking foot helps to control the feed - so that could be why they were using it :)

      I wanted the fabric to feed more evenly than the regular foot was performing.

    Have you thought about a small rubber gasket to put on the screw beforehand or would that be too tight?

      Rubber would not help it would have to be nylon sleeve and a perfect fit but that’s a thought for a new invention thanks
