- Brandi Carlile came to Ravinia just outside Chicago - the oldest continuously running outdoor music venue in the country - for an intimate, stripped-down show that felt like she was performing for close friends in all of our living rooms. In her performance of “That Year,” she recounted the sad personal history that drove her to write this moving song: Old-school Brandi on Aug. 31 in Highland Park, Illinois.
