I’ve used the Challenge Chicane on this course and fast dry courses before but don’t feel like they hook up enough on the turns. I just go with the classic Grifo for all dry terrain now.
CX just looks brutal. How hard long does it take you to get use to those surges (they usually chop me up pretty bad in crits and these look way worse)?
what a relief, CX season is back which means drew films :), btw always listen to your wife, question for you since this was a UCI race how are you able to show race footage? i know they "claim" video footage from DH etc. GCN's coverage was annoying this year with the rambling pointless commentary, i was waiting for you to post this, looking forward to the next one :)

Cross races are more sustained efforts so it hurts the entire time. Crits have higher peaks though so it hurts more for shorter periods.

Yes. Specialized Crux. Just swapped out the derailleur, chain and wheels. Not too hard to do with AXS.

They changed the rule last year so you can race with a camera. All in all it grows the sport. Hopefully they realized that.
