Honestly pretty fun to hear you fanning over the pro tour riders, I feel like I’d be exactly the same way. Wish there were some pro tour races over here to give more opportunities to see them race/race with them
I raced against Lawson as a junior in Texas. He was winning 15-18yo races while we were still 10-14yo. I think he also came second in junior worlds ITT one year. The dude is truly gifted, it gave me a real understanding of the power of the pros and GC contenders who are a level above even him.
It was Brutal just watching it. At about the @2:08ish mark on the flobikes live broad cast they gave you a big shout out as the camera moto was zooming in on you and other riders going up the 2nd or Bridge St climb.
love your videos But gotta say for the crash - you're the rider coming from behind / making the pass so the responsibility is more on you than the other rider to make it happen safely.
Talk to the riders around you when coming from behind "on your left [insert team name]" "don't close the door" etc. Tap their hip, anything to warn of your intentions.
Oh it’s 1000% his fault… it drives me crazy even hearing him say “it’s just racing”. It reminds me of aggressive drivers not realizing they are the problem when they cause crashes. I get wanting to slot in there, but the stupidity caused a crash which put the other rider out of the race and also wasted his own energy. It’s just a dumb move….. Not to add insult to injury, but he’s been crashing a lot in all of these recaps. Definitely needs to take a look in the mirror and be less aggressive because clearly it’s not working…. This time it ruined someone else’s day too.
@@drdumbo9124 And this attitude is what is making even Gravel races unsafe at the moment. Super high risk passes on sketch terrain to get one position and then slow down and ride the same speed. The number of gravel crashes in the pass 2 years is everyones videos is WAY up. It's all of these a$$clowns with some fitness (but not enough) and NO finesse. Then they say it's just racing. This guy nearly crashed himself out 5 times that I counted - in a road race. Wouldn't want his monkey butt anywhere near me on gravel. I cannot believe the number of riders at every level who cannot realize and accept their limitations and stop trying to make up for them by putting everyone at risk. Bad equipment choices, poor training decisions, and mental collapses on course, watch these videos and most of the other "elite" riders for a checklist of what NOT to do.
Sorry about the crash how is this World your guys think can survive agains world tour riders . Crit USA Racing it is Amateur level. Look like they not even trying to go hard. Time to wake up i did crit racing for years successfully return to Europe didn’t even survive a single race with out getting dropped

Starting with 1 bottle and trying to gollow the early break when you have all thise world tour pros behind what were you thinking my G?
“I had already blown myself.” Bro, you’re gonna sell hella training courses.
Wait, how much does it cost to get blown now?

Good luck in the Quad Cities and on Unbound!
You got the silver medal among Bonk Bros. 2nd place isn’t bad.
nice job man. great self assessment. good luck on the next race!
Great to hear the positive comments on the course and Charleston. Hope to see you next year!
Very nice ride Drew
Great video as always!!
love your videos

Plus that was a teammate in front so logic would say he would try to grab a teammate's wheel.
Woot! Love snake alley

Did you really say Charleston WV haha Such a random place to host, but absolutely beautiful
Look at where the curb is headed. If you’re going to end my race, at least finish yours
Did you tell awesome Craddock you stole his bottle?
Surprised the gravel skills didn’t kick in and let you bunny hop that curb 🐇
Man calls roadies out for not being able to ride fast on gravel then just rips into a rider from behind in a road race. RIP my boy Cold Davis.
Gotta call that bro. Totally your fault. Other people would not have been so nice...
That was Monk that got the flat, Ty and legion had blue helmets and Monk was #3
I think most Pro Nationals end with only 20 or so riders
My kid did it in 2022 only 14 in final climb to finish.
huh, how is that NOT your fault?! No hate but that was all you. You were hard riding the left in a lot of the footage. Love Black Bibs

If you ever fail a test now you have a great excuse 😂
Hookless zipps are the last wheels i would choose to,race on
I wanna do some fun YT trolling cause you crashed, but 39th isn't a trollable result. Darn!!!
Psh
Crash is clearly your fault. Your coming from behind and the door was already closing.
