As a fellow Christian, you have gained my respect in the way you stand on your faith and spread the gospel. That’s also being a great role model for your daughter! I also believe you don’t need to be “talented” to spread the word haha.
And as for the flack you sometime catch for publicly proclaiming your faith, remember “If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.” 1 Peter 4:14
dad watts: i’m there. kids come first. bike came second. volume went down this year and it was fine. missed some cycling goals this year, still fine. kids? busier than ever and happy. and i’m getting into their hobbies now (rock climbing with the one kid, picked up violin with the other). it’s a journey, it’s never dull, and oh yea at some point the kids can go on longer rides too! got my oldest up to 11-12 miles.
As I have aged , I really thought about how fast the top XC racers really go over the sketchy stuff. As I broke my hand and fingers multiple times recently, I realized broken bones sucks more than going super fast.
Amazing video. I will definitely use ur advice to become a better rider and person. I love your channel and appreciate all the advice and tips I have learned by talking to you and watching your channel. Keep up the good work.
I broke my leg prepping for an MTB race and have given up most racing as a result. I've dodged bullets for more than a decade as others have crashed out around me and don't want to put my family through something like eight weeks of non weight-baring (or driving, or shopping or doing laundry, etc.,) again.
Re. the broken wrist. When Robbie Madison jumped a motorcycle up onto the Arc de Triomphe (Las Vegas version) and then dropped off onto another ramp (both world records), he was pleased that the only injuries he sustained were (if I remember correctly) a broken wrist and a broken toe (could've been thumb and ankle) on landing; he was expecting worse...
That Tulsa video was really good. I have it on when I ride the trainer... at least till you crash. I think the sound, the music.... that is why it is most successful... That and I keep watching it.
I started watching this morning and the Stairway to Heaven excerpt was a very good choice for the stair build. I little later in the video it suddenly stopped working. It seems the music industry is really picky. Finished video this afternoon. And I confirm that DIY stuff takes longer than the initial estimate.
I had no idea this video would inspire me so much. Everything you said from 1-10 was amazing truth. God bless you, your family, and your platform! Matthew 5:16. Good to see you at Big Sugar and hang out. Gonna be rocking those aero socks this year 😂
God, Family, Country, Bikes. In that order and you will do fine. My daughters are grown now and it seems like an instant. Cherish those times because you can never get them back.
The thing I hate about crit racing is the cost. Even if you get to do 2 races in a day the race fees, gas, food, time, is stoopid. Just doing fast paced competitive club runs and Wednesday worlds makes more sense
Awesome learnings! I'm very uplifted to hear that you follow Jesus Christ! God is so so good! Keep believing and spreading the good news. Keep being the best husband and father you can be. And pound the asphalt and gravel to oblivion! Crush your competitors! Graciously of course. Hahaha 😅
1-9 great. #10, no. Have you actually read the WHOLE bible? Exodus 21 for example. Its fine that you believe, but religion is for you. Telling others god loves them is actually insulting. No hate, just feedback
I’ve read the Bible every year for about the last 10 years. That’s one chapter in gods great plan. Sin came into the world in Genesis 3 and one of the effects of sin is humans not treating each other how they should, including slavery. That’s a sinful, human thing that the Bible addresses. Also, the biblical view of slavery is radically different than the modern day view of slavery, post African slave trade era. Romans 6 says that because of the new covenant that Jesus brings, we are now slaves to God and set free from our bondage (slavery) to sin. Good stuff man. Try reading the NT before you bash the Old. It all fits together.
@@DrewDillmanChannelslavery is wrong, god should have said no slavery at all, not this. I hope you dont pick up a stick on the sabbath or wear clothes of mixed fabric,... Anyway. Back to cycling content 👌

Amen to that. Haha
Amen Brother…”God is Good” is always #1 on my list!! Keeping shining that light

Amazing how fast our kids grow. Family first. Your family will be there for you long after accolades fade.
Very true.
You have figured out the perfect angle for your videos. Faith, family and fitness. Pray, love and ride!!
Keep the awesome content coming.

Yea. I forgot about monetization policy. Couldn’t use that music so had to take it down and re edit it.

shout out to God
God is good!
How freaking hot will that attic be in the summer in Kentucky?
I installed a mini split. I’m ready for it. Haha.
I appreciate your testimony for Christ!!!
Is Bonk Bros not on youtube?
Coming soon.
are you still with texas roadhouse?
Unfortunately no. They don’t want to support me with gravel stuff. May still do a few road events though.

Okay, I’m going to watch this Drew. But if I hear the word talent, I’m turning it off.
Uh oh…
God is good, it is sad that many do not want people to witness.
Thanks.
Yeah magic fairies in the sky.
Yeah, everyone, haven't you seen the news lately? God is great!
