Proud owner of SF250 from past 3 years. Really an awesome bike. Faced only 2 problems: 1) Gear shifting is somewhat hard. 2) Rear brake bite is not as it has to be, as you mentioned.
1)rev match and downshift for seamless gearshifts, and dont shift in a rush as much as u can (its a sports tourer not racing bike) 2)rear brake is just for slowing down gradually, use front brake or both brakes. dont try to stop with back brake only( again its a sports tourer) 3)ride nice and easy, build speed gradually, slow down gradually. that's how we should ride this bike.
Bro if your engine match that you need to downshift theke gear it smoothly down but it hard obviously because your engine that i need that gear for optimum performance
@@souvikghosh8008 this engine and gearbox is not designed for racing intentions (quick gearshifts and quick response), this is a touring engine able to reach and maintain high speeds with ease with extra weight/luggage. still, this bike have excellent performance above 4000rpm and u will only feel it on 4th 5th and 6th gears, 1st 2nd and 3rd gears wont show much performance because it is designed for good mileage in cities/slow speeds. ride it nice and easy until u reach a highway
Everyone says there is a problem in availability of parts like it takes 10-15 days but I want to clarify that I, owning a gixxer 250 never faced any sort of problem in the availability of the parts.

@@adey5272 100% you can go for it. Also if you come from a 1 tier or 2 tier city then its not at all problematic but idk for the 3rd tier cities… waha ration bhi nhi pohochta. And I have personally compared the build quality of gixxer, dominar and mt15 and gixxer has the best build quality. But I also prefer to first test drive a bike you like and then decide to purchase.

After riding all kind of 12 bikes like r15, fz, hunter, ronin 225, apache rr310, duke 250, rc 200, dominar 200, dominar 400 ( i know i cant compare all these bikes ) but trust me i rode all of them before buying this one. Looks wise - 2nd (1st r15) Handling - 1st Power - 2nd (duke 250) Mileage - 1st Riding posture - 1st (sports bike segment) All in all good bike i have been riding this bike for like last 6 months conpleted 8500+ km, i have done long rides too... my review is go for this bike you wont regret... but i recommend if you are a solo rider... for a partner it will be a little uncomfortable... not for the pillion but the for the rider when some one will sit behind you... then will lean on your back... and you cant go for like 500km someone leaning on you whole weight comes then come on your wrist. And lower back. Yes, it's the best riding posture wise (other than all sports bikes ), but somewhere or the other, it has slightly aggressive posture.

I only hv experienced it as a pillion... Engine was pretty smooth and the bike is nimble I'd say. Pillion comfort is also there and the grab rail feels confident enough to hold onto, my hands were red though cause it has a pretty decent acceleration.

Bro I got the same 2 weeks back . 1st servicing hua nahi abtak , bike me vibes h handlebar me normal , knee jaha fairing me touch hota h waha aur halka sa seat pe , is it normal before 1st service ki uske baad sahi ho jayga ya fir shall i take it to service center rightaway , 1st bike h mera to samjh nhi aa rha ki ye common h ya nahi.. 4-4.5k rpm se vibes feel ho rha h ,, please batao

Gizzer 250 is a good bike but it doesn’t have the fun of a sportbike, yes it is powerfull but what we like is the pull R15 and KTM provides that, for long rides I prefer cars but for 40/50 Km rides I prefer R15 or KTM coz they are fun bikes to ride
If it is a superbike, I am okay with having stable power on all the rpm but on a bike less than 300 cc we want sudden pull that is slugish at low rpm and sudden pull after 6/7k rpm
Cycle hai r15 6k ke bad power aati hai torque hai nahi usme sitting position uncomfortable hai day to day use ke liye or track par to lekar jayega nahi koi use
I will suggest cb 300f if you are 80-95 kmph person. I own a Gixxer sf 250 and it's a very capable machine but the Honda CB 300f at 2 lakh is more value for money. A sports tourer is not everyone's cup of tea and it may exhaust you after a while. So, don't go into that cool looking vibe, instead pick a functional bike.

XMR is a new model, hero bikes always have problems with newly introduced models, especially the higher CC ones. Suzuki is always built like a tank (if u ride it in the right manner).
