Lekin ab dekhna yeh hai ki Karizma mein kitna dum, kyunki saamne khadi hai Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. Dono bikes ke pricing aur specifications milte julte hain, lekin phir bhi dynamically hain kaafi alag. I appreciate karizma, even after 200cc bike it competes gixxer 250
Gixxer does have a faar better engine with the suzuki patented socs (suzuki oil cooling system), but there is nothing else for the gixxer to brag about , on the other hand the karizma has a traillis frame, slipper clutch, auto headlight on , hazard lights, led lights etc etc etc.

Yes, I would say Gixxer only have bulky feeling and power, while the Karizma have features and it's only 1bhp lower than Gixxer sf250 , and less price , Gixxer Sits on 2.4 lakhs and Karizma 2 lakhs only(in my state). Karizma is a better pack for anyone who wants a good , powerful,features, high Mileage, and under the budget bike . Gixxer is for the one who only want the power.

This is a proper comparison, else other jhandus are comparing Yamaha R15 with 250cc or 200
brother, you are riding a gixxer which has been used and serviced a number of times beside e karizma which is a test bike...
being a karizma owner, I will tell you the xmr engine becomes smoother after 1st service and ought to get more refined with periodic services.
Because after 1st servicing, the mild vibes that were there after purchase, died down considerably.
so it will be a right comparison when u use both bikes after both of them have covered considerable kms.

*Hero Karizma XMR does not stand a chance against Gixxer 250 SF. no matter how much you try to compare it with Gixxer 250SF.*
*1. XMR looks cheap from the sides as if Hero took some water pipes and wielded it,*
*2. Fairing bikes are not tall (except for adv) but broad and low to have a better center of gravity this is what Hero engineers missed to understand..it looks like an after market kit being added to the bike.*
*3. Hero designers should have gone with 160+ section at the rear to give it that broader look but opted for thinner tire in the sense it looks a mis-match as Indian designers tend to make the bike pointed from the rear which looks very cheap..unlike the triumphs or ducatis where they maintain the breadth of the bikes at the rear so they can keep the bike proportionate..*
*4 Tail light looks cheap...as now days with leds at disposal you can do a lot...like the new Aparche RTR310 (naked) simply outstanding rear tail lights that gives it that unique look.*
*5. But where the Hero engineers covered all the above and threw it in trash is the front of the bike..absolutely unique and eye catching and certainly will be a head turner both at day and at night.*
*Gixxer 250SF is a quater lts class bike and any kid who is into real and serious biking can understand that 20.4 Nm @ 7250 rpm stands no chance against 22.2 Nm @ 7300 rpm no matter how much power does the engine generates, torque at the end gives that smooth riding experience in the cities or the highways with min gear shifts and engine refinement...besides Gixxer250SF has all the looks of a real fairing bike except for the windshield thats a draw back but new model of gixxer launched have addressed the issue all we have to do is wait for India's launch ..rest engine wise Hero has got lot of work to do.*
*The real comparison of XMR is with the legendary Pulsar220, Rs200, Apache RTR 200 and KTM 200 besides to an extent with R15 that's where XMR actually belong not in the quarter ltr class...hey just my views*

Which brand offer 160+ section tyre in 200cc? Even your meat ride Japanese brands gives 150/60 tyre in 400cc + Karizma has far better engine, tech, looks & features....Gixxer sucks in performance as 250cc even R15 has better top speed than Gixxer
