"Ludicrous" Chicago area property tax bills prompt mayor to call for freeze

- As Cook County residents face large increases in their property tax bills this year, one south suburban mayor wants to guarantee his city won't raise taxes next year and urged other municipalities to follow suit.
Vote the ones allowing this out of office.
If Harvey is $149 million in debt, how will they pay their bills?

This has been goin on in the south suburbs.. mayor has no control on the cook county assseor
You can grab 10 friends and cut the property taxes by running for local office. $800 fee for county commissioner

In Irving, Texas seniors receive lower taxes on their home after applying.
Alsip, too. You can lock them in
Impeach Johnson and vote these democrats out of office.

I'm so sorry for the first woman and everyone else affected. She has a beautiful home, probably worked hard her whole life for it, like everyone else.😢
I hope this mayor can pull it off for the residents, it will be a guaranteed vote right back in. He sounds like he really cares, unusual in politics.

Does Illinois not have any caps on how high primary residence homes can be taxed? At least in Texas we have a 10% cap on annual tax bill increases.

It's cheap! But the area is not one you would love to move to.

senior freeze, dissolve or consolidate school taxes with other districts, zoom classes, atttorney to file an appeal
