These P Bandais in the last few months are starting to get really annoying man. So many lost oportunities for me to buy some awesome kits. At this point it feels like Bandai doesn’t want me to feed my kids and don’t tell my wife but im getting tempted here!
Obscene Vegan Gotta set up priorities.. Bandai is really dropping the ball with so many unecessary premium labels(Nearly the entire december announcement expo kits were premium.. really?). Getting the Woundwort and that's it, but the Pixie and this gouf are still terribly tempting :p.
I have the gouf custom and I'm impressed the flight type here's arm is that stable. That was the downside to the custom that you couldn't really get it to hold the weapon for too long. Seems like a solid kit.
It's entirely possible I guess. It's not that it can't hold the gun up so much as it can't hold it up for very long, after some time it'll just move the arm down due to the weight. I picked it up recently but from what you described and shown it holds it much the same with the peg into the wrist and the holding hand having that small connection. I kinda doubt they made anything lighter so I guess it's just age.
Try looking at the shoulder joint socket there is a notch in there where you can insert the peg from shoulde ball joint so that it can hold its gatling without drooping
Alvin Tay they could have used the joints on the arms and legs to make it more posable. Maybe if this wasn't a P-Bandai it could have been possible. I mean it would have been cool. Think about it, we got the GM Ground Type and Gundam Ground Type for the Federation side, then they switch to Zeon and make a revive Gouf Flight Type that could pave the way for a Revive Gouf Custom.
I don't think they've ever used only the joints of one kit to make another in HG, it's not like it's an inner frame. What you're basically saying is that you hoped for a new retail kit of the flight type. That was also what I had hoped for this to be, but unfortunately for us, Bandai went this route.
They did use the joints from one kit into another. The HG Tristan for example was made of almost new parts, aside from the joints which were the only parts from the Alex used in this kit. Also there were the joints of the Powered GM which were used on all federation kits until the revive line. The GM Ground Type's joints have already been used on many other kits that share a common body. In the case of the Gouf Flight type, the difference between that and the normal Gouf is purely cosmetic, so there could have been a way to reuse joints but have separate armor parts.
Right, so they did. Though it the suits listed do share a direct line in terms of development. As seen from Alex to Tristan, the GM type C and all its variants, as well as the Ground type with the Blue Destiny line. While both the gouf and the flight type are both goufs, don't seem to share that direct lineage. This leads me to think that was the reason for them to not use the joints for this. Whatever the reason, fact is that they didn't use the revive Gouf.
One of the best Zeon kits from a few years back. Love the Gouf so much.

Gian Melo yeah man, i think they hate anyone that doesn’t live in asia lol
Yep, they are trying to jew us out here, a couple of brand new kits are P Bandai. Really?

I was hoping this kit was based on the Gouf revive. Unfortunately it is based on the 2010 Gouf Custom.
The suit looks is based off the Custom, there's no way it's going to be off of the revive, the mold won't work at all unfortunately

How does this compare to the old one
Did Zeon just took the GP01fb thruster wings and turned them into the Gouf shoulders?
We need 2.0 8th ms team Gundam kits ASAP !!!!!!!!
Why does my gouf flight type's feet tend to fall off easily? It is very annoying!
I am building the Gundam Base Exclusive 21st Century Real Type version of this. I love it, but man, this was a tough build for me...
The shoulders look like the binders on the GP01FB.
I've seen some pictures online and you can actually almost build a Gouf Custom out of this. There are enough parts to make the shoulders and legs.
Vladimir Mihnea Now why would you though?
Joeie Rivera I don't know.
This definitely is a cousin to the Gouf custom.
How much this model was?🤔
