@@mastercharlesdiltardino8058 After you activate the cutscene with the Countess in the Attic, going back downstairs should get the Merchant to give you the key
Hey, I dunno if you still need help with it, I was gone for some time, what others said, the countess cutscene in the attic should trigger it, might wanna jump into the mirror world quickly to see if it helps. That should overwrite any other dialogue he has and let you get the key from the counter. I think they mostly fixed the issues of key not spawning on older save files now but devs said there were problems with that before

The key to get into the underport? You are supposed to get in from the merchant.
