- In this video I will be checking out the statistics of winning the BOTB Dream Car Competition. There are many factors to consider but this will give you some insight into how difficult it is to win the car competition. Even calculating the statistics isn’t easy but this is one way of looking at it.

One guy won it 4 times. Crazy.
Also, a fact to consider is that you might hit the spot but if your other ticket is more distant than others you will lose anyway. Happens every few months. And even if you are the same distant or play only one ticket you have to multiply by tie break scenario which can be 1 : n players that got to that stage. So you are right in saying it's close to a lottery probability.
Hell no, only the winning ticket counts, people play 75 tickets , the 74 had 0 power if the 1 right
@@Bambotb in case more people hit the winning coordinates then your other tickets are taken into consideration. Basically the fact u hit winning spot does not guarantee you winning since it will go into tiebreak scenario and then your other closest tickets are being compared.

I understand the ticket odds but it’s just not the only reason the main one is this is not a game a of skill it’s a game of pure luck because u have four judges one goes left on goes high one goes low and then they take the average so essentially ur trying to work out where I think the average of four judges will be which is difficult it’s not a skill it’s a pot luck of getting the pixel that matches the judges average! Spotprize do the same guess where the ball is which is better because they actually know where the ball is there not taking averages so it’s more realistic to work out
Exactly. They should remove the judging panel but I think they have the panel for legal reasons.

It's not a scam, but it's just impossible to win it😢 thank you for opening my eyes... now there is a question should I buy 100 tickets a week or one ticket a week ?
Depends on your budget 😁.
There are 52 winners in a year .... every week 450000 /500000 players ? ....For example if every player WILL win 1 prize ...... the first winner win this week and THE LAST WINNER (500000) after 9117 YEARS.

It would be better if no judging panel but I don't think they can do that for legal reasons, so I believe.

@otiel9165 it's definitely transparent but it's not easy to guess where the judges average is when they can be erratic at times. I don't know how some people can win it 2, 3 and 4 times.

but dont forget most people get some of their money back, and a few get all of their money back, and it whiles away a few hours of fun as long as you dont bet hundreds or thousands of money that you cant afford to lose . sorry mate i still like botb and will only do the dc comp not the raffles.

So what if you bought 75 the limit what’s the chances ?
I've never been brave enough but I suppose it would increase your chance by x75. But it's impossible to gauge it accurately, too many external factors.
@@BOTBCar there's always a winner, they take closest one no matter far away so...
@@BOTBCarit depends on what you do with the 75 crosses though. If you play them all in one tight cluster as opposed to spreading them out it is possible they could all be in zone 3 for example or worse and you end up with a lot less back in credit. I think the most I ever played is about 15 crosses and that wasn’t on expensive tickets. If I play now I only buy 1 or 2
