If the power supply was a "good design" They would have something to stop a shorted transformer from destroying half the circuit board. Also nothing is a good design if spare parts are not available. We should be able to order any transformer in any device. That's a lot of work. Good job!
great indeed it is a nicely engineered design and very safe with properly incorporated safeties but there are some unexpected conditions in upcoming session we will study it and will explore its root cause for failure. i will trace the circuit
Very very informative vedeo. I never seen such informative and knowledgeable vedeo. Thank you so much God bless you. I spacialy like that you start your vedeo from name of God and end with name God. God bless you,
it is my pleasure yes it is my routine that i start and end of my video for health and peace for my viewers it means May the peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah (God) be with you
This is a good practical example of the method to reverse a transformer and very informative. However in reality it's cheaper to just buy another 24V psu ;-) Meanwell DIN Rail 24V 10A PSUs are about 1/4 the cost so good value and good quality and would serve the same purpose. It's a bit extreme to actually do this level of transformer reversing in order to copy and build another transformer. From a business point of view the time alone makes it not worth the effort, especially counting the number of small wires in each cable. It is good for increasing knowledge but that's all really. I have salvaged some of that 0.1mm transformer wire it's very useful for rebuilding tiny damaged traces on arcade game pcbs :-)
Sir, can we check the integrity of the SMPS transformer with a measuring device? Or how can we test it with an oscilloscope? I would appreciate it if you could answer both of them. I watch your videos all the time. Thank you for providing very important information.🙏🏻🙏🏻
Sir can you explain - why in battery charger smps voltage boost to it's mentioned voltage , why it is high than battery voltage even when I set the voltage perfectly. Please explain the situation.
Good day sir. I was wondering. Does the formula V1/V2=N1/N2 still applies when working with transformers in a SMPS circuit? The reason I ask is because when I work out the V2 values according this turns you get and if I use 230V(V1) as mains in, I getting strange V2 values.
No That formula doesn't apply to smps transformer In ferrite core transformer there are too many parameters involved like Frequency Cross sectional area Core material Switching topology Input voltage Core permeability Duty cycle Type of switching pulse Wire size
it takes days to dip in acetone or IPA or MEK for many days to soften the glue between the core halves, but sometimes it fails to soften and in result the core gets cracked or broken also boiling the trasnformer for 10-15 minutes in water gives the similar results but i use this method, i feel it effective
@@HaseebElectronics Okay, I wanted to know if solvent works. Can heating the core damage it or change it's properties? Did you have any problems with that? If I use an oven, can you give an estimate of the highest temperature?
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh sir I have a one question 74hc07 74hc14 like these I want to test this IC with practical but I don't know what kind of voltage I will provide in the input terminal I read the data sheet but I couldn't understand what kind of voltage I must need provide please sir if you explain about this we will get help from you
Wow

@@HaseebElectronics Thank you very much. I thought so, but was not sure.🙏🙏
Такую работу не каждый опытный инженер может выполнить. Ещё нужен запас проводов и изоляции.

@paulcohen1555 this method not degrades its specs
Extreme Overheating causes to degrade or destroys the core material's epoxy bonding
Sir gate drive transformer is damaged, so what can l do? Please

Sir how to find simple test method in SMPS transformer failure
How to know the primary side of those transformers?

video number 1027 is for 7414 or 5414 it is schmitt trigger
i will arrange testing for 7407
Where is the circuit diagram of the SMPS board?
it is under the transformer
circuit diagram will be prepared in upcoming video (second part of this video, hopefully coming day after tomorrow 14 May 2024 evening )
