Nope. The best one was the one on Galatta plus hosted by Bharadwaj and the upcoming one with Anupama Chopra. We needed representation from the 4 South industries. Tamil Malayalam Kannada and Telugu Namely Dulquer, Karthi, Yash and Rishab. All of their movies made more money than any of the Hindi movies acted by the north actors on this panel.

Absolutely loved the discussion. I could simply watch Tripti Dimri for hours on end since she looks like an absolute Goddess. Take Diljit's humility, Tilottama's authenticity, Raj's and Vijay's cerebral depth, Kartik's humour, Shefali's charisma and Tahir's eloquence, put it all together and there you have the recipe for an engaging and intellectual discussion.
what discussion are they conducting with no representation from south when no bollywood movie has made as money as south movies this year

It's not as easy as it seems to be an actor I am amazed by all the technicality that goes into potraying a character loved tripti's performance in qala she is phenomenal and missed alia here it was her year for sure...

The reason I love DILJIT is- he didn’t sacrifice his culture & religion to be famous. In Punjabi Industry, all Sikh celebrities cut their hair to look more ‘acceptable’ to their international & Indian audience. But Diljit never left his roots..he was literally the first Turbaned actor ever to make it big in Punjab itself & not just Bollywood

Even during 1984, an entire generation of Sikhs was forced to cut their hair to save themselves from ri0ters.
@@phildunphy6045 Keeping the hair short is much more convenient. Long hair are messy. It's easy to wash short hair. You don't need to spend an hour to wear a turban. Many of them cut hair to either look better or for comfort. Again it's a personal choice. I have no problem if someone is wearing turban by his own choice. But these things should not be imposed.

Look at Japan, China, Russia, Israel, Southern India, Sikhs and so on.. but most of the Indians, mainly north indians of the Hindi belt, who've abandoned their culture have become worse socially and economically.

I love this interview and everyone. If I had to choose my favourite few minutes it would be 19:54, where Paji just stole the show with his humbleness. One more thing I would like to add, there are several roundtable interviews on TH-cam, but I only watch Rajeev Jee's interviews. ❤️❤️

Also, his silence/stoic expression when Shef was in awe speaking about Bachan, gained a lot of respect from me for Diljit. Diljit did the right thing then and there and stood his ground in a way. Not reacting to a word of praise the others were showering on the man responsible for provoking the genocide in 84. Have more respect for Diljit now

We have seen (and I personally experienced) a lot of heinous & insensitive comments from Sikh community about The Kashmir Files & the Kashmiri Pandit genocide.
I was so disappointed and appalled by the way some Sikhs were questioning the authenticity of Pandit genocide in the valley. I really hope they understand how it feels after watching either of these 2 movies. 😒

It's quite amazing to see Tripti get the recognition she deserves. Before she made her film debut with Laila Majnu, I remember her becoming viral for the female comeback version to Kartik Aryan's PKP monologue. And now she's on the same roundtable with Kartik. Life's really come full circle for her. Her performance as Qala was amazing. A star in the making indeed.

I was indecisive about what really makes Karthik such a bankable star but watching him talk about the phsyce of bollywood masala film's is definitely what other wannabe commercial actor's should look into.
That said, the dominant presence of talent and not the so called untalented "STAR KIDS" is what makes this roundtable a resounding watch.
Diljit's response to the question suggests that he has a very sound mind, and he is unquestionably the crown jewel of our Hindi Cinema.
