Yeah about 8months aho when I watched Naruto I saw a video some sort of edit and this was the exact comments with 16-18k likes and I liked it too much and ever since I related every trio that way like nagato was an image of sasuke yahiko like naruto, jiraiya like Naruto orouchimaru was like sasuke then kakashi was like sasuke and obito was just like Naruto but paths changed and roles too for obito which means the characters who mainly influenced the show were in the composition of team 7 but the only successful team 7 was of naruto's.🖤

This episode is really stands out. One of the most memorable and hard hitting ones. There are not many episodes that can compete in terms of violence with this one. Also the animation, the usage of soundtrack and voice acting is so goddamn great in it. It always takes my breath away at this moment 12:15. The eng dub is good, but doesn't even get close to the original in this scene, imo.

Nagato was chosen due to being an Uzumaki - incredible chakra reserves due to being direct descendants of you know who.

He doesn't just blame kakashi for what happened, it was the situation, it was the shinobi system what caused this. In their shinobi world, events like this is normal but it is different if it's someone close to you. If it happens and you have power, you'd change everything with the power you have.
Obito's reasoning to go with Tsuki no Me project are much more complicated than just Rin's death. It was for sure the first trigger and in later episodes we're gonna see how his perspective start to develop further thanks to Madara.

I love that, it made escalated quickly but it showed how much Obito´s character changed. People think it happened with what they usually call "a bad day" but this was happening for long....Obito didn´t exactly change from one day to another.

their mangekyo activated from the same event, but from completely different feelings. obitos eyes is more on hatred and anger, and kakashis eyes is drawn more on the sorrowful side.

Kakashi is not an uchiha, Obito awakened the MS and he clearly still had a connection with kakashi's sharingan as he was still able to see the same as kakashi right before awakening it

Only an uchiha has the kekkei genkai to activate "eyes that reflect the heart", and turn it mangekyou. no matter how far away he would be, him seeing it through kakashi's eye and then realizing what he saw actually happened would activate both mangekyou
The creepiest and saddest awakening of the most OP Mangekyo ever. Obito's worst mistake was think he had a second chance at life only to realize he already fell in hell. He had so much hope that he could be together with his team again that everything turned into a pool of madness, pain and despair. Obito realized there exist something wicked and corrupted beyond what he believed. His goal to reach the Infinite Tsukuyomi was to erase the flaws of the shinobi world because it was part of a chain of hatred and pain. The way wood-style surrounds the Mist nin bodies and the moon turning red was symbolising the Kamui and Moon Eye Plan Such a wonderful and dark episode 👏👏🔥🔥
@@maxthommesen9315 Shisui's Mangekyo was barely used in the correct way. Too overrated by ordinary useless situations. Kamui on the other hand showed how dangerous and broken the Mangekyo was. To the point of being separated in two diferent users for the sake of the whole plot.
When you get to that point, I recommend watching the Kakashi Anbu Arc. It's actually quite good compared to other fillers and shows just how much Rin's death affected Kakashi :) There's a backstory for Yamato and a bit about Itachi as well
The irony of the episode is that during kakashi chronicles flashback we see obito giving kakashi his eye and telling him that I'll be the eye for you and watch the future through you; only that next months/years the only thing he sees throgh kakahsi's sharingan is rin's death by his friend that entrusted her protection to. Focus the scene that he saw the weird images through kakashi's eye.

Maybe the other choice is Nagato LOOOOL. The akatsuki is already around at this point, Also Nagato is a lot older than Obito. Plus the Obito handling the Hashirama cell pretty much wraps it up. The Cell is not easy to control look what happened to Danzo and to those kids who got experimented by Orochimaru (only Tenzo/Yamato Survives). When Obito used his power here Zetsu just has to say that. Obito is from the Uchiha clan and Nagato is from Uzumaki. Those are some good boys.
Basically Madara _chose_ Obito as his successor to become the next "Madara", because first and foremost he needed an Uchiha, but he also saw lots of hidden potential that he could manipulate. The ability to use wood style that Zetsu observed in Obito might've just been mentioned as further proof of his strength. Its kind of unclear what would've happened otherwise, maybe he would've tried to manipulate Obito at a later time, or any other Uchiha kid that wandered too close to the hideout and then use the Zetsus to kidnap and brainwash them or something.

him seeing rin die is just a starting point to the way he is now… over time he’s seen so many things that he actually feels like the worlds needs to be put in a genjutsu where people like sasuke or naruto don’t have to go through hurtful experiences and live a happy life with their loved ones
I'm pretty sure that this was already said so this isnt spoilers... the guy from the hidden mist with the eye patch byakugan, was the one who figured out that the kage of the mist was under a multiple years long genjutsu, that drove him to give the hidden mist village the reputation as the blood mist village, the same one that zabuza mentions his schooling in and the final exam, which was killing everyone else, and kisame even said “so you were the one controlling the kage” when obito showed him his face and apologized that kisame was the last to know. Also there was a episode that is considered filler (for some reason) that shows that they were trying to use rin like a bomb, by putting one of the tailed beasts in her and letting her go back so she can be forced to release it in the middle of the hidden leaf.

Or else, look at it this way: Itachi died when he was 21, and Sasuke was barely 17 (4-5 year difference). Sasuke was a few months old the day Naruto was born. Meaning Itachi was at most 5 years old during the attack, and at most 4 years old when Madara found Obito.
You can just feel the footsteps, the impact, the screams. This episode is more than a memory of Obito.

@@kanieloutis5604 maybe Kakashi's only awakened because he was in close proximity to Obito, or maybe it was because Obito was simultaneously looking at them from a distance while also seeing Rin's death in first person (through Kakashi) so that awakened his other Mangekyou. Thats actually interesting to think about.
Kakashi is not an uchiha, Obito awakened the MS and he clearly still had a connection with kakashi's sharingan as he was still able to see the same as kakashi right before awakening it

@@c3p6 im a year late but, even if obito was far away, his eye still has a connection to him(which is why he could see what kakashi was seeing when he killed Rin). Only an uchiha has the kekkei genkai to activate "eyes that reflect the heart", and turn it mangekyou. no matter how far away he would be, him seeing it through kakashi's eye and then realizing what he saw actually happened would activate both mangekyou

Obito's worst mistake was think he had a second chance at life only to realize he already fell in hell.
He had so much hope that he could be together with his team again that everything turned into a pool of madness, pain and despair.

Shisui's Mangekyo was barely used in the correct way.
Too overrated by ordinary useless situations.
Kamui on the other hand showed how dangerous and broken the Mangekyo was.
To the point of being separated in two diferent users for the sake of the whole plot.

When you get to that point, I recommend watching the Kakashi Anbu Arc. It's actually quite good compared to other fillers and shows just how much Rin's death affected Kakashi :)

Plus the Obito handling the Hashirama cell pretty much wraps it up. The Cell is not easy to control look what happened to Danzo and to those kids who got experimented by Orochimaru (only Tenzo/Yamato Survives). When Obito used his power here Zetsu just has to say that. Obito is from the Uchiha clan and Nagato is from Uzumaki. Those are some good boys.

Basically Madara _chose_ Obito as his successor to become the next "Madara", because first and foremost he needed an Uchiha, but he also saw lots of hidden potential that he could manipulate. The ability to use wood style that Zetsu observed in Obito might've just been mentioned as further proof of his strength. Its kind of unclear what would've happened otherwise, maybe he would've tried to manipulate Obito at a later time, or any other Uchiha kid that wandered too close to the hideout and then use the Zetsus to kidnap and brainwash them or something.

I'm pretty sure that this was already said so this isnt spoilers... the guy from the hidden mist with the eye patch byakugan, was the one who figured out that the kage of the mist was under a multiple years long genjutsu, that drove him to give the hidden mist village the reputation as the blood mist village, the same one that zabuza mentions his schooling in and the final exam, which was killing everyone else, and kisame even said “so you were the one controlling the kage” when obito showed him his face and apologized that kisame was the last to know. Also there was a episode that is considered filler (for some reason) that shows that they were trying to use rin like a bomb, by putting one of the tailed beasts in her and letting her go back so she can be forced to release it in the middle of the hidden leaf.
you still said spoilers but anyways theyre way ahead lol. Also, one inconsistency, maybe a "plot hole" is the fact that one of the mist anbu's in this episode said "Do not mock the Blood Mist Village" or maybe it already had that bad reputation way before obito

@@sachamarzullo Obito attacked Konoha when he was about 14, about a year after "dying". Itachi was 5 during the 9 Tails attack. Or else, look at it this way: Itachi died when he was 21, and Sasuke was barely 17 (4-5 year difference). Sasuke was a few months old the day Naruto was born. Meaning Itachi was at most 5 years old during the attack, and at most 4 years old when Madara found Obito.
